¡Amo este lugar! Las vistas son las mejores que he visto en ningún otro lugar. Las habitaciones son rústicas, este lugar no es un hotel, es una experiencia rústica de albergue ecológico de montaña, ¡y es genial!

La comida aquí es la mejor que he probado en toda la República Dominicana. No exagero aquí, la comida es increíble.

Los viajes diarios que ofrecen son maravillosos, educativos y conmovedores. ¡Simplemente maravilloso!

Recomendaría este lugar a familias que viajan, viajeros solitarios y parejas que buscan un ambiente romántico. Es un gran lugar para que los padres se relajen y los niños jueguen.

El aire de la montaña a gran altura y el ambiente tranquilo son muy refrescantes.

Planeo volver.

Su desayuno es delicioso! Sus habitaciones son muy hermosas y es un lugar para ir a relajarse, no es para cualquier tipo de persona, es para personas que en serio les guste la naturaleza!

Un pequeño idilio paradisíaco ubicado en una montaña de Puerto Plata. Destino ideal para escapar del ajetreo turístico. Gran punto de partida para otras excursiones como las grandes cascadas.

Nice place with a great view. Great food and great atmosphere. Nice and helpful hosts. We will definitely be back.

Come back in 2023. We were 4 couples on a round trip in DR. Still an amazing place. Can also recommend hiking with a guide. The guide is knowledgeable, committed, proud of the country and good in English. Finally, a big thank you to Tim for his hospitality

Tuvo una vista magnifica. Los empleados eran muy amables. La comida era excelente, muchas vegetales y diferentes opciones para que todos los miembros de la familia encontraron algo que les gustó.

We didn’t stay there, but just had lunch before going on the trek. It was an amazing experience, and the food was excellent. People who staid there told me that they loved it.

Ubicación privilegiada, con espectaculares vistas. La atención es muy esmerada por parte de los encargados del lugar. La comida es muy buena. Las instalaciones necesitan un poco de mantenimiento.
Privileged location, with spectacular views. The attention is very careful on the part of the people in charge of the place. The food is very good. The facilities need a little maintenance.

Es un buen lugar para desconectarse, la comida es buena, una vista maravillosa de la costa del atlantico y se puede apreciar la montaña isabel de torres. El personal es muy amable y el hotel es de facil acceso.

Este hotel es mágico, las atenciones son de primera y la comida demasiado buena. Precio calidad muy bueno

Realmente es de los pocos hoteles que volvería aparte de que es ecológico si amas la naturaleza y quieres desconectarte este es el lugar.

We went on a hike with a guide from Tabagua Ecolodge. It was a beautiful hike through the mountains and jungle. After taking in the stunning views, we arrived at natural pools where you can have a refreshing swim or jump in. Thank you for the experience and for showing us the beauty of your country. After the hike you can relax with a beer or a tasty meal in the Ecolodge restaurant, which has excellent views of the valley. We prefer to pre-order our food just before we start our trek, so that when we get back to the Ecolodge it is ready super fast. If you have to use the bano, we recommend the special one. You will understand why in a very positive way:)

Bonito lugar con una gran vista. Buena comida y buen ambiente. Anfitriones agradables y serviciales. Definitivamente vamos a estar de vuelta.

Regresa en 2023. Éramos 4 parejas en un viaje de ida y vuelta en RD. Sigue siendo un lugar increíble. También puede recomendar caminatas con un guía. La guía está bien informada, comprometida, orgullosa del país y buena en inglés. Finalmente, muchas gracias a Tim por su hospitalidad.

It's a beautiful location in the mountains south of Puerto Plata. The hike, 4 km, to God's Swimming Pool (as it's called) is beautiful and the swim (you really must swim!) is like none other. However you need to be in good shape for the walk back particularly if it's hot like it was the day we went. So well worth it.just be prepared to be pretty spent when you get back to the lodge for a highly anticipated cold one.

No nos quedamos allí, solo almorzamos antes de emprender la caminata. Fue una experiencia increíble, y la comida era excelente. La gente que se quedó allí me dijo que les encantó.

No e ido a este lugar para juzgar la apariencia etc.lo que si puedo juzgar es el servicio al cliente. Estaba tratando de hacer una reserva de varios dias para mi hermano que se esta cansando. El proceso fue una pesadilla. El peor servicio al cliente que e recibido. La persona que maneja el WhatsApp es incompetente. Le haces una pregunta simple y responde con algo totalmente irrelevante. Que mal experiencia. Pero nada, gracias a dios que este no es el único lugar con una vista hermosa. Totalmente un desastre.

Beautiful, unique place to experience the local culture. We loved the room/Casita and meals. And the views are spectacular! Thank you, Tim, Jessie, Perla, Juanin, and Alfredo, for a wonderful experience we will never forget. You made us feel at home. Don't miss the tours to the coffee plantation, Amber mine, and hike!

Very good and we are likely to go again - Bug spray is a must! Daily scheduling is definitely on island time, but with a rental car (go with a high clearance!) you can find all sorts of local fun. We took a tour of the Pedro Garcia Coffee Plantation, and also went to a local amber mine! If you get too hot easily, a small fan might be of use. Internet was a good speed in case one needs to do a little work to stay on vacation.

Meals here were good, and the staff accommodated our purchase of a Sapote (brown fuzzy local fruit seen in pictures included) and made milkshakes for us one morning! In winter, the abundance of local fruit is great and and everyone was quite friendly.

As a note: Dogs, chickens and roosters, goats and more roam freely in the areas nearby - traffic can be loud with the newly paved and widened road is bringing more large vehicles through - you may want earplugs to make sure you sleep past the rooster's crowing. Or it's a great time for a morning walk, the sun gets hot fast
