Great facilities great service especially in the buffet Casablanca with your waitress Elizabeth above a beyond. But the food menu have to change especially the grill is very slow compare to the capacity of the hotel. The breakfast was the same for 3 days no bread running out for 1 days. But otherwise great in everything including the room was amazing and the concierge service and housekeeping personal very friendly.

The 1 star is for the MGMT staff and guest services. When booking your stay here, please make sure to confirm all your excursion or extra activities ahead of times. We stayed for 7 days and we thought our Ocean World tickets were inculded. We made sure to ask the VIP member who also confirmed for us locally. As soon as we went to the VIP club to inquire about our tickets (that according to Lifestyles and the VIP member is included with a minimum 3 nights stay) we were told we would have to pay per person to go and that the tickets were only made available (if they had any) to VIP member, not their guests. Also those in Management and Guest Services are not in sync with what the rules or protocols are for the Resort. The quality of food has gone down big time, they food selection was very minimal and variety was lacking. Be prepared to be let down, every other day there was something broken or the coffee maker/frozen blender "is being fixed". We went to Lifestyles in 2015 and this place was awesome, you felt like you were in another world, how excellent you were treated.

Wished I could give this 5 stars for all of the waiters/cleaning ladies/beautiful peacocks. The local staff onsite are super friendly, happy to see you and make sure to accommodate if possible. Shout out to Jose and Marleny Ramos! (Best dinner crew at CasaBlanca)

Remarkable excellent customer service it's awesome experience for me and I enjoy every minute of every second of every day and night to top it off i will say what a lifestyle it's nothing but tropical

Beach sand in water not pristine, grounds and staff excellent, food selection not great at beach stand. Drink service excellent.

Outdated hotel rooms. Food was repetitive. I have been to many resorts and this is by far the worst one. Not many activities during the day. Service was subpar. I would not recommend

Buena tarde todo estubo bien pero a urtima hora se daño todo andava con 24 pareja critiana y uvo un mar entendido con una taza y estuvo muy mar decir q las rovamo. Deven de ser ma curdadoso con esa cosa

El peor hotel del puerto plata, atenciones pésimas, la comida deja mucho que desear, muy caro, y sus instalaciones no merecen la pena. Ofrecen un servicio, muy diferente al que se encuentra.

Basura de hotel, deben reservarse el derecho de admisión, entran muchas personas chopos! Sin educación, si no tienes acceso vipmejor no vallas!

Reception could be improved first they gave a room with a bad air conditioner we have to wait until the next day to sleep comfortable after that it went well friendly staff clean and beautiful place

Your typical resort took an hour and a half for check in
If you purchased your stay through Groupon be prepared for a “tour”. They will take you first thing in the morning to convince you to buy a membership. Might be worth it for those who like resorts and go often. I didn’t purchase any due to the concerns of maintenance and upkeep. A lot if stuff was closed like the children’s club and renovations.
Besides that it’s a nice place

Resort is great. The issue is the employees are not in sync. You ask one person and you get different answers from different employees. We were told you have to make an appointment for covid testing 2 days prior but then found out you can do it same day. We were told we can do 15 items a day for wash and then we’re charged when we were told something different. Worst part is if you are trying to get a manager to accommodate you don’t expect it. Even if you were told by an employee, you are wrong if you don’t know the actual rules. It would be nice to have a rule book prior to entering

The check in experience was sloppy and disorganized. The receptionist was very unprofessional and rude, I also had to change rooms twice. The first time I changed rooms was because there was a bad odor in the room and the second time was because the bathroom was dirty and there was also no hot water. Lastly, the resort says it’s all inclusive yet you have to pay for wifi which disconnects frequently, that is not all inclusive and you’re paying for poor quality wifi. I do not recommend staying.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your place. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome:)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down.

What an Amazing resort. We opted for the All-inclusive package and it was completely worth it. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and a large pool at each Villa. My family and I can't wait to come back!

To all my friends reading this, NEVER bring your family here. The resort is the most UNSAFE place I have ever been too. The BIGGEST scam to ever exist. The ocean is HORRIBLE and not blue as the photos always show, the staff treats you horrible, the food made my ENTIRE family sick. The water bottles are reused time and time after again and whatever is not used is used in the mini bars. We had an incident where a member of the property tried to get into our villa and the staff members did NOTHING besides tell us it was our fault. There is NO FREE WiFi, and you are told to purchase the WiFi package if you choose to use it. The golf carts are ALL falling apart and barely work. The only people that get treated properly are the ones that own Real Estate Investment properties, other than that you will remain eating at HORRIBLE restaurants.

Esta es mi segunda vez que mi familia y yo vamos a vacacionar con la cadena de hoteles lifestyle en puerto plata, èsta vez nos quedamos en el tropical. El staff muy amable, (los chicos de animacion muy simpàticos) los shows nocturnos espectaculares, las instalaciones se veìan limpias, la comida buena, las piscinas se sentìan limpias tambièn (me refiero a las Paredes). Por lo ùnico que estoy Dando 3 estrellas es porque de 2 habitaciones que tenìa (en la que se estaba quedando mi mamà y uno de mis hijos) las 2 primeras noche fueron horrible para ellos porque la habitaciòn tenìa problema con el aire acondicionado, el piso parecìa Como que tiraron un cubo con agua, las Paredes mojadas, las sàbanas y Cama hùmedas y frìa. Esa habitaciòn parecìa el polo Norte de frìa. La cosa fuè que la segunda noche tuvimos que amanecer todos en la otra habitaciòn. Y yà para esa fecha lo habìa reportado 3 veces. En el tercer dìa antes de salir a disfrutar volvì a reportarlo y cuando regresamos de pasar todo el dìa en la playa y piscinas encontramos el problema resuelto.

The villa that was advertised and paid for was NOTHING of what we got, not even an approximation (total RIP OFF)! Two of the three bathrooms were always clogged. There was mold inside the kitchen cabinets. One of the rooms was an OVEN and until the last day of our staying, problem couldn't be fixed. We paid for VIP service, but everybody goes to all the VIP areas, there's no control and it was REALLY OVERCROWDED on weekends. BE CAREFUL! With the golf cart service, they have a little SCAM running: you have to leave $50 deposit (cash only) and if you don't present a hand written receipt when you return the cart, they will NOT GIVE YOU THE MONEY BACK (although they do have a CARBON COPY of the same receipt. The prices really change you can pay $300 or $600 (for two a day) and some people who pay a lot less get the same service as you. There are annoying timeshare sellers at every step of the way and they are dressed with the same uniform as the hotel workers and just when you want to relax they throw you a long and tiring spiel. WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE!

It wasn't a great time but the best time of my life. The customer service was A1. The closest you'll be treated like a celebrity without actually being a celebrity lol.

Very well kept grounds amazing people the newly renovated buildings are quite nice clean and modern. The way we were were treated was second to none. Amazing experience with the staff from Lifestyles Resort
