Vivonte Cigar Factory & Lounge

Visited Dominican Republic for the first time and smoked my first cigar. Thanks to Glen who guided us through the steps, He recommended a great restaurant for lunch and was very knowledgeable about the area. Go pay him a visit if you are in the area!

Great place with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. They take great pride in their work and it is reflected in the quality of their product. They are also very helpful to tourists and were happy to answer our tourism related questions.

Just off the malecon in Puerta Plata, sits Vivonte cigar lounge and factory. Small but quite Viv ok nte offers a good selection of cigars and some basic yet good eats. Operated by a son and father team, Vivonte is a good quick stop place to enjoy fine smoking, medium to high price cigars and the exquisite atmosphere of one of the Republica Dominicana's nestled hot spots.

As a new comer to the cigar world I cant say enough about the service shown by the owner. Highly recommended. I visited the store and later purchased online and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Excellent service and great cigars. Darian was a great server, very friendly. Glen was a good person to explain differences between cigars. 3 of us on a day excursion this was a perfect place.

This is the one place I wanted to visit for cigars and was happy to meet Glen. You have a wonderful establishment. On my next trip to the DR you will be my first and last stop. Had a day to spend in Puerto Plata and stopped by to speak to Glen. Very knowledgeable about cigars and the staff was excellent. A must stop if in Puerto Plata and looking for a good cigar and great food. Darian was our waitress and was truly great to deal with on our excursion.

Nous avons passé un bon moment avec le propriétaire qui nous à fait visiter le soir. Ils font leurs propres cigares. Sans produits chimiques. Vraiment pas cher pour cette qualité. Essayer les petitservices cigare au miel.wow je n'ai pas eu mal à gorge. Je ne minimise pas l'effet du tabac sur la santé mais ils sont vraiment bon et de qualité.

Je recommande et je vais lui en commander sur son e-commerce pour les faire venir au Canada.

I enjoyed my tour of this cigar makers shop and lounge. Very informative. The owner Glen is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cigar production and football. The product they produce is Supreme.

Amazing experience! A great place to learn about the cigar making process and kick back close to the coast. Cigars are top notch and very reasonably priced! Vivonte Cigar Factory offers a great time for first time cigar smokers to cigar aficionados.

After walking around and checking out Puerto Plata me and my 2 buddies were about to head back to the resort. We were aimlessly standing on the side of the road in front of Austin’s shop (Vivonte) and a friendly Canadian voice invited us in to check out the shop.

Immediately we were struck by the pleasant Aroma only a hand crafted Cigar can make. He took us upstairs to show us the process of how the cigars are made, and showed us the boxes they have created and explained some of their upcoming projects.

We hung out in the shop for a couple of hours drinking local beer and just hanging out with Austin, which made 3 golf pro’s from North America feel right at home. If you’re looking for quality cigars and just genuinely good people, check out the shop!

Stumbled upon vivonte while checking out Puerto Plata. Austin came out and was immediately treating us like friends. He showed us the cigar factory and show room as well as taught us about the Dominican Republic and the cigar industry. My friends and I enjoyed a few beers and bought some cigars while enjoying the lounge. Such a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy a cigar, beer, and sports on the tv. I would absolutely make this a priority to stop in and see Vivonte.
