Soy un novato en el mundo de los cigarros, pero me encanta tener uno cuando me lo ofrecen. El propietario fue un excelente caballero y tuvimos un maravilloso recorrido por la fábrica mientras fumábamos un cigarro cuidadosamente seleccionado a nuestro gusto, marcado por una excelente charla en el cómodo salón. Disfruté un par de rones y un whisky (Collingwood, muy bueno). Todo el personal y el gerente fueron excelentes y recomendarían encarecidamente una visita. Puede comprar puros allí después de su visita o preguntar sobre posibles opciones de envío.

Glen fue un anfitrión maravilloso que estuvo dispuesto a abrir sus puertas un domingo para charlar con algunos extraños mientras fumaban un cigarro. Tiene un gran conocimiento y fue maravilloso pasar la tarde charlando sobre el mundo y las complejidades de la elaboración de cigarros.

Buenos cigarros decentes, nada especial ni espectacular. Arrastre horrible. Algo caro para lo que es. Un sin nombre al final del día. Probé una caja.no creo que la vuelva a conseguir.

Desafortunadamente, no tuve mucho tiempo para pasar allí, por lo que no pude hacer un recorrido por la fábrica. Simplemente decidí comprar a ciegas un paquete de robustos medianos y algunos cigarros extra para probar. Hasta ahora he probado dos y son realmente geniales, concretamente la selección 12, que fue excepcional. El precio era bueno y me sentí muy bienvenido, por lo que definitivamente recomendaría este lugar a todos los aficionados a los cigarros.

Encontramos Vivonte a través de Viator y terminamos comunicándonos con el propietario Glenn. Fue muy servicial y tuvo una excelente comunicación, pudimos conversar con él un rato mientras estuvimos allí también. Pudimos conseguir un mejor trato con él. Ofreció transporte hacia y desde el puerto, pero terminamos caminando (15-20 minutos) para poder hacer turismo y golpear la sombrilla y la calle rosa en el camino de regreso. Nuestro guía fue Julio. ¡Él fue absolutamente fenomenal! No podemos decir suficientes cosas buenas sobre él y la experiencia que nos brindó. Está muy bien informado y definitivamente tiene una pasión por los cigarros. ¡Aprendimos mucho! Fue un recorrido muy completo y no apresurado. Éramos los únicos allí para la gira en ese momento, así que fue agradable estar uno a uno. Mi esposo y yo obtuvimos un cigarro incluido en nuestro recorrido que fumamos allí. Y luego pude rodar uno yo mismo y lo empaquetaron para que me lo llevara a casa. ¡Fue increíble! El que estaba fumando mi esposo allí, se había consumido como 3/4 y a Julio no le gustaba cómo se quemaba (no uniformemente, eso puede pasar a veces, lo discutió con su equipo sobre lo que sucedió con ese así que no volvería a suceder), así que le consiguió otro a cuenta de la casa. Hablar de servicio al cliente! Luego fuimos al bar de abajo y nos dio un par de degustaciones gratuitas de algún licor local y nos sentamos a tomar una cerveza con él y el cantinero. ¡Fue una experiencia maravillosa! ¡Dirigen un negocio maravilloso y también es un edificio muy agradable! Gracias por tratar tan bien, ¡volveremos!

I really like this place! I took a taxi here with a friend to unwind and have a cigar. When we walked in the owner started telling us all about his cigars and gave us an awesome tour of the place. It was really cool going through the complete lifecycle of the tobacco and the rolling process, from seed to cigar.

The prices here are established so if you do not like to haggle this is a great place to shop. We were introduced to Brugal Leyenda Rum which went so well with their cigars.

I will be stopping here again on my next trip to Puerto Plata.

Warning! Tell the taxi that this is the place you want to go to and do not let him take you anywhere else, he will try. But you will get a less quality cigar. Thank you Glenn, I will enjoy your cigars for many years to come, via internet.

Julio gave a wonderful tour! We just walked in and Julio offered to show us the factory. The cigars are great - we took 8 home! Impressed by Julio’s knowledge of where the tobacco seeds are from, where they are planted and how they are harvested. Would definitely recommend!

We found this cigar factory tour on the Viator tours website in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. I really wanted to take my husband on the tour as he is a cigar enthusiast. Vivonte Cigars provided an exceptional tour experience. We had a very nice driver Jonathan pick us up from the port and took us to the factory. We were greeted by employees and offered delicious fresh brewed delicious coffee. Glenn the owner met us and started us off with our own cigar! Glenn was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cigar industry. He shared with us the history on the plantations, seed origins, process of drying, blending, aging, storing, the humidor room and the rolling room. This was a very personable experience and we absolutely loved it. I have never smoked anything in my entire life and I honestly enjoyed the cigar Glenn recommended so much that I smoked the whole thing! The cigars are all hand rolled with the best top quality leaves! We learned a few great tips as well. This was such a fun and educational tour! We enjoyed our time with Glenn so much and hope to stay in touch and get back there again. I would urge anyone whether smoker or not to go on this specific tour. This is a smaller operation but THE BEST hand rolled cigars you are going to find in the D. R.as they have so many quality control checks to insure these are an amazing smoking experience! You learn so much in a friendly and fun environment! We did purchase a collection of 24 hand picked cigars by Glenn which he carefully packaged for us to take back to the states. Awesome place! They will show you how the manufacture their cigars, as well as the storage methods. We sat and chatted with the owner for 2 hours, wonderful guy and great staff

Great experience that has a mix of Dominican cigars with impressive humidor and they even let my 16 and 11 year old kids roll their first cigar! Priced similar to home with 25 cigars for $190. Great quality of cigars provided in a fitting box for safe travels.

Very fair prices and the owner is a very friendly Candian expat. He even gave us a ride to another bar, thanks Glen!
