Cuando vendes tu casa, todos sabemos lo estresante que puede ser. ¿Donde empezar? ¿Qué hacer? ¡Muchas cosas! ¡Es como aceptar un trabajo de medio tiempo! Tuve mucha suerte de tener un buen amigo que me recomendó a James cuando estaba listando mi casa. Todavía recuerdo haberle enviado ese primer correo electrónico simplemente haciéndole preguntas. Para mi sorpresa, en cuestión de minutos recibí una respuesta de James. Supe de inmediato que las cosas iban a ir bien. Las cosas simplemente despegaron a partir de ahí.

Estaba muy nervioso con las muchas cosas que hacer mientras vendía la casa. James siempre estuvo ahí de noche o de día para responder mis infinitas preguntas locas. Si me quedaba atascado pensando en algo, él estaba ahí para resolverlo. Siempre fue optimista, tranquilo y profesional. Muchos mensajes de WhatsApp de ida y vuelta averiguando cosas. La preparación para las proyecciones fue genial porque sabía qué esperar de James. Siempre estuve al tanto de lo que estaba pasando.

Es muy conocedor, confiable y muy profesional. Hizo muchas presentaciones de mi casa y la MEJOR parte fue que pudo venderla en poco más de cuatro meses. ¿Qué tan genial eso? Estoy encantada con lo maravilloso que es James y con el manejo de todo el proceso de venta. 100% recomendaré a James y su empresa para comprar o vender su casa. Tuvimos un problema de último momento en el cierre de la casa. Terminé en el hospital el día del cierre con Dengue. James pudo reprogramar sin problemas. Temía vender mi casa, pero gracias a James, la cambió y fue una experiencia muy positiva. Este es el tipo que usted desea si está vendiendo o comprando una propiedad.

James went above and beyond what I expected from a real estate agent. He has some very professional virtual showings, which made it easy for me to get a feel for what I was looking for. He is very friendly and was able to guide me through the buying process in the DR. I was able to contact him very easily and he was very diligent until the end. James and his team at Blue Sail Realty and Property Management are absolutely the best group to work with in Cabarete and the surrounding areas along the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. I have purchased two properties using Blue Sail and both transactions went smoothly and every detail was explained and handled properly. This is especially important if you are not used to buying property in the DR. The process is not difficult but it is different than in the US or Canada which can be a little intimidating for a first time buyer. I recommend James without reservation if you are interested in property in the DR!

Wow, what can I say…. James Oosterman was by far the best Realtor that I have used in my lifetime. James goes far above and beyond in his duties and makes buying in the DR seamless. Jenny Famillia was the attorney James assigned me and she did a fantastic job.

Let me say that James aggressively showed my property to more people than any other agent. Including the bigger outfits. His listing, Pictures, videos are far superior than what anybody else is doing and he’s paid a lot attention to detail.

The buyers lawyer was extremely difficult to deal with. He was a deal killer. If it wasn’t for James I would have backed out from selling several times. And it didn’t stop with the sell, he called and texted multiple times to make sure that I receive my money.

So if your looking for a guy that’s going to fight for you, protect your investment and work his butt off buy and sell with James. He’s restored my interest in wanting to do business on the north coast again.

On a side note, we used Jenny Familia as our lawyer. Like always she’s fantastic. She’s a trusted source with titles, large amounts of money and paperwork.

Can't say enough about James and his help with the recent purchase or our condo in the DR. From initial contact, to tons of questions we had to the viewings and final sale/closing.
