Moderca Rent a Car

Reservamos el alquiler a través de "Reservas económicas", alquilamos el coche con kilometraje ilimitado, seguro y asistencia en carretera las 24 horas. Lo único que no nos gustó es que cuando fuimos a recoger el auto tuvimos que pagar un seguro ADICIONAL por un total de $106. Sin embargo, el coche que conseguimos era exactamente lo que esperábamos, era muy económico y fácil de conducir. Otra cosa negativa fue la ubicación del auto de alquiler, en el camino de regreso para devolver el auto nos perdimos porque era muy difícil de encontrar. Por último, el personal fue fantástico, muy agradable. Sólo tenga cuidado con las tarifas ocultas.

Llegué a recoger el auto y pedí un depósito de $250 y me lo devolverían cuando devolviera el auto. Ha pasado más de un mes y lo único que me dicen es que depositaron en mi cuenta y que depende de mi banco cuando lo liberen. Según mi banco, el recibo que me proporcionaron es sólo un recibo en papel que sacan de una máquina y no significa nada. Ojo porque parece que estafan a gente por ser de otros países.

I booked the car in Zezgo in Boca Chica through Expedia and I paid Collision Damage Plan. When I came to pick up the car, they said that this insurance is not valid and I have to demand a refund from Expedia. Thay calculated a new insurance 270 usd and I accepted that, becouse otherwise I would no got the car. They also demanded depozit for the car 250 usd.
I used a credit car for all payments and I was not careful when I signing the slips. Later I saw on my bank statement, that they charged me 499 Eur only for insurance. When I returned the car and demanded an explanation, they behaved very rudely, unprofessionally and only referred to the signature. Thay said, that I had to pay less insurance if I paid 2000 USD depozit for car. But this, they didn't tell me when I picked up the car.
I advice all tourists in the Dominican Republic to be very careful, becouse they try to deceive tourists at every turn.

12/24/20 le rente un Subaru por 3 dias y me cobraron $750 dolares. No tenia bluetooth tube que usar CD.el grista del frente estaba roto de esquisna a esquina. Y me dijiero que si le rento el carro por mas tiempo el precio me baja.lo llama 3 dias despues y me dijieron que nunca me dijieron eso. Quiza porque me vieron sola rentando un carro dijieron vamo a ver lo que le podemo sacar?

12/24/20 I rented a Subaru for 3 days. They Changed me $750. No Bluetooth, I had to use CD. Front Glass was damaged. He also told me if I stay with the car longer the price would drop. I called him 3 days later and said I never told you that. Maybe he wanted to take advantage since I went to rent the car myself being a women?

El mejor lugar para rentar vehiculo, con la mejor facilidad y precios y de los vehiculo, en óptima condición.

My favorite car rental place in Santo Domingo. They are honest, friendly and very professional. They even checked on me to see if I made it home ok. Unfortunately you can't trust most of the companies at the airport. I used moderca twice and now I won't rent from anyone else

They tell you one price and when you go to return the car, they charge you another. No thrust wording! Especially a agent Osuna that meet you in the airport offering different price.

The guys in the airport are all scam artists. We took the chance and went with Anthony in his car to his office which is not in the airport. He had excellent prices, new cars and great service. I took a Ford Explorer in great condition for 1 week, returned it with no problems at all. Highly recommended!

I have rented from them twice already very convienant ver nice and good cars Ramon is always attentive and helpful I actually owed him 49 dollars for the car I had and told me just send it when you get to the states no problem the best no one is better then him
