22The price is great for what you get. I stayed in a studio with a bathroom, kitchen, and king size bed - perfect for my two month stay. It had everything I needed. The bonuses are the pool and that it is conveniently located at the entrance of Callejón de la Loma. Plus, Manuela, the manager is very responsive, which is great. I would stay there again.
As long as you know what you are getting yourself into The Hummingbird is great, but it's not for everyone. Returning late at night doesn't feel particularly safe and the roads leading up to it are rough, narrow and poorly lit. Once inside it is very relaxing and everyone is very friendly. They lock the gate at 10pm - which they failed to mention - but the security guard will open the door when you knock.
