Surfbreak Cabarete B&B

¡Durante mi estadía en República Dominicana, viví una estadía excepcional! La atmósfera de este lugar es a la vez tranquila y encantadora, creando una sensación de estar como en casa. El personal fue increíblemente servicial y disponible cuando necesitaba ayuda. Situado cerca de un paraíso del surf, aunque no directamente en Cabarete (lo que requiere un viaje en guagua hasta la ciudad), la ubicación ofrece un equilibrio perfecto.

Las instalaciones están impecablemente limpias y el jardín desprende un encanto mágico. Encontré consuelo y me rejuvenecí junto a la piscina, disfrutando del ambiente tranquilo. Si busca una escapada serena, le recomiendo de todo corazón elegir este alojamiento para sus vacaciones. ¡No te decepcionarás!

Buena ubicación alejada de la ciudad, tranquilidad garantizada. La playa está cerca El alojamiento está muy limpio y bien decorado. Se ofrece un muy buen almuerzo. Además, tenemos a nuestra disposición una cocina muy bien equipada para preparar comidas. Por un camino tranquilo o pasando por la playa se puede llegar a la ciudad. Gran lugar

¡Nos lo pasamos genial en Surfbreak Cabarete! Las habitaciones eran preciosas y la piscina era perfecta para refrescarse después de la playa. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar!

¡Este lugar es increíble! ¡Buena ubicación! Muy cerca de la playa con surf increíble con Wave Soul. Las instalaciones son perfectas y todo está súper limpio y los propietarios son muy serviciales. Viviría allí si pudiera:)

No puedo exagerar la hospitalidad del personal, las habitaciones impecablemente limpias, las dos atractivas piscinas y el placer de intercambiar historias con otros viajeros aventureros aquí en Surf Break Cabarete. Excelentes desayunos, cerveza helada y una deliciosa pizzería a 1/4 de milla de la carretera. ¡Este es definitivamente el lugar para quedarse!

Absolutely amazing accommodation. The garden is so beautiful and it's very nice to relax at the pool. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Close to the beach and a very good food market. Would highly recommend staying here.

Desde que pusimos un pie dentro la atención de "Ele" fue magnífica. Nos sentimos como en casa o mejor!

Era justo lo que estabamos buscando. Además, nos apuntamos al asado que hacen los jueves y el buen ambiente, tomando una cerveza que ofrecían ellos a precios irrisorios, nos hizo pasar una noche inmejorable.

Las instalaciones y la escuela de surf ya es otra historia. Adjunto fotos para que se aprecie.

Os doy un 10 a todos chicos, fue una experiencia inmejorable!

Best place to stay in the area! I would give 7 stars if i could. It’s comfortable, clean, not noisy, with lot of plants, good vibes, energy, nice breakfast, well organized with ultra helpful & friendly personnel making Your stay perfect. Additionaly to that they have awesome options for good surfing (surfschool & Rental) and Yoga, Massage and some events that are making a connection between people with No pressure. Its close to the beach, cheap Shop & nice bars/restaurants. I’m sure we will come back, cause it’s been the best place to stay in DR so far:)

Surfbreak Cabarete is truly a slice of paradise!

The location is perfectly situated between Cabarete and Sosúa which are very accessible by guagua (local taxis). The surfer cottage we stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The gardens are very well maintained and there are two beautiful pools with plenty of lounging space! The breakfast is plentiful, delicious, and fresh!

Most importantly, the owners, Agustína and Juan, are fantastic people that went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. We were truly blown away by their generosity and can't wait to go back!

My friends and I stayed at Surfbreak for 1 week and absolutely recommend it. The space is kept clean, the staff are lovely and the location is perfect for surfers. The hosts are incredibly kind and caring, and had many recommendations for other activities in the area. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great place to stay while you are in Encuentro!
My sister and I stayed at Surfbreak for two weeks and absolutely loved it. Our room had AC and a mini-fridge. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We both enjoyed two pools on the property after surfing and kiting and a yoga studio with free mats. Surfbreak has a beautiful garden, and you truly feel you are in a jungle. In addition, a shared kitchen to prepare food, complimentary breakfast, Thursday’s BBQ, fun gatherings, and people made our stay memorable! It was a wonderful trip, and we hope we will be back soon!

The property is beautiful. The area is quiet… peaceful. Minutes from the beach to surf/kite. The yoga studio is beautiful too.

Surfbreak is a wonderful, laid back oasis! We stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed the swimming pools, gardens, yoga studio, and the great company of travellers from around the world. The beautiful beach is just a short walk away and perfect for long morning walks. El Cuentro food park is also a short walk from Surfbreak, and don't miss Maria's food in the open lot just 2 blocks away. Romario is so helpful and can help connect you with trips, taxis, and other things you may need. Highly recommend!

This place is comfy, with a beautiful garden and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Romario is a tremendous host and the most helpful person we've met in the whole of DR. Throw on top of that a yoga space most studios can't boast and you'll find this place a definite keeper.

Spent three weeks here. It was a nice get away from the snow. Mainly a surf trip for me and the place worked out great. Juliana is very nice and helpful. The room, I stayed in the surfer cottage was perfect for my needs. A tad loud due to street proximity and the Moto's that buzz by. Made full use of the kitchen which was very clean. They offer fresh eggs and rolls and fruit each day for breakfast. I took the yoga classes as well which were well worth it and the instructor was great. Highly recommend for a trip for surfing/yoga and to unplug.

We rented “penthouse room” which was very far from 3stars. Half of all walls were made of net – so it felt like we lived on a fresh air, not protected from draft wind. On our terrace there was no table or night light. Accommodations area has a beautiful garden, but swimming pool is small and equipped with only two old beach beds. Common kitchen area with another little pool is across the street and you need to use key every time to get there. Several dogs are always in common area which sometimes scaring if you are not a dogs’ fan. Kitchen is closed totally after 00: 00. We refused of having breakfast because is was quite poor for us and we didn’t like to cook for ourselves and wash dishes. So, the place is OK to stay couple days for surfing if you don’t have any high comfort expectations…. But if to stay longer its really good to have car, because all comfortable beaches, shops, restaurants, etc.are in 5-20 minutes driving from this place.

It is rare for a place to live up to all the reviews but Surfbreak does not disappoint. It is safe, friendly, beautiful and minutes from an amazing surf beach. The staff are remarkable and make you feel right at home. Highlights at Surfbreak include sharing a drink or meal poolside with the other guests, yoga during a tropical storm and of course the resident dogs. Our whole trip to Cabarete was amazing but I don't think it would have been the same if we had not stayed here. Miss it and would go back tomorrow if we could.

Wir haben unsere 10 Tage bei Surf Break sehr genossen. Abseits von Cabarete lädt die ruhige und idyllische Anlage zum verweilen und ausruhen ein.
Der ganze Staff war einfach super! Sehr freundlich und vor allem sehr hilfsbereit. Egal was man brauchte / unternehmen wollte, sie kümmerten sich sofort um jedes Anliegen und boten immer den besten Service.
Es fehlte uns an nichts. Ein toller Ort für Jung und Alt, um neue Freundschaften zu schliessen!

Surfbreak has really been like a little paradise and me and my friends had a wonderful time there. The place is beautiful and like all great places it is filled with good people. First of all obviously Julliana, the manager of the hostel, who arranges everything for her guest from pick ups to grocery runs to the supermarket or booking tours. And with all that she is the friendliest and kindest person ever so you really don’t hesitate to get her advice. But all members of staff are super friendly and helpful and it creates a really relaxed and homely atmosphere. The place itself is very green with lots of outside space to hang out around the pool or in one of the many hammocks. The place is located a 5 minute walk from Encuentro beach which is great for surfing and is in between Sosua and Cabarete. So you have the perfect mix between a quiet and unique spot far off from big all inclusive resorts but get really quickly in the cities for going out or shopping. Thank you so much for making our holidays so special at Surfbreak Cabarete we will definitely come back again!
