Serenade Restaurant Bar & Lounge

Justo en la playa de Cabarete. Tenía el pescado a la parrilla que era increíble. Pasé por el hotel, lo cual fue un error. El guardia de seguridad no estaba nada contento. Hay un callejón que puede seguir detrás del hotel y que conduce al restaurante. Tienen una cámara de playa donde puedes ver una transmisión en vivo.

Gran vista al mar. La comida y los cócteles eran maravillosos y el personal estaba bien informado, era amable y servicial. No entiendo ni un poco las críticas negativas.
Incluso como turista con todo incluido, debería darle una oportunidad a los restaurantes locales, no sólo aquí. No nos arrepentimos y volveremos a visitarnos. En términos de precio, está totalmente bien por la gran calidad.

Recientemente tuvimos la mayoría de nuestros almuerzos y cenas en el restaurante Serenade en Cabarete, República Dominicana. La comida fue excelente, el servicio fue impecable y ya estamos ansiosos por nuestras próximas vacaciones en Cabarete, para poder hacerlo todo de nuevo. Recomendamos encarecidamente el Serenade para disfrutar de una comida maravillosa, un personal alegre y animado y unas buenas noches de entretenimiento musical gratuito. No se puede superar en toda la playa.

Ruben sandwich - missed the mark 2 out of 3 times. First one was great, second was brought on a bun (wth), the last time the Ruben had No sauerkraut or 1000 island dressing. What a "cook". 2 stars because my friend liked the pasta - yes, something really hard to make.

The best ambiance in town on Wednesday for the Mongolian buffet.
Music was live ambiance jazz, the lights were soft, perfect to eat and relax and stay in that parasympathetic ;)
The food was fresh, varied and delicious. I loved the peanut and ginger sauces.
The services was outstanding, the waiters were very attentive and kind.
Topped that with a wind free, heure bleue, evening.
I highly recommend this place on Wednesday evening. Will definitely be back.

Horrible service! 5 of them hanging around ordered chicken wings and fries! People after me received orders before we did. 50 minutes later they said, apparently a mistake in kitchen! No sorry, nada! Beware! Not recommended at all. Ohhh and bartenders had big attitude.

Was told that there was something wrong with me because I didn’t want to drink a drink with a insect in it. I could have gotten over it, as we are on the beach… but the lack of respect / dignity… not cool… and yeah…. I can take a joke…. But a 12 dollar drink with no consideration… not cool…. Food was good though…. Service… is not on par with the cost.

Met friends for all you can eat bbq buffet. We all agreed the best meal in Cabarete so far. The food was awesome. Everything was cooked perfectly

My partner and I have really enjoyed both the food and staff here (we've gone a number of times now)! The staff checks in frequently to ensure we are doing well and they are always friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoy the buffet on Wednesdays, fresh, tasty and so many options!

We got to meet some fellow Canadians there just last night who have been coming to Cabarete for the past 7 years and they had nothing but good things to say about Serenade as well!

The restaurant is very well located with an Incredible staff, everyone is very nice and helpful. The food is very good, fresh. And the ambiance is always perfect with good choice of soft music. It is charming and welcoming. And again an extraordinary staff team!

Really bad service that took long, if you didn't try to gain attention of a server they wouldn't come to your table and food came either raw or cold

We waited for 1,5h for the meal. Out of 6 dishes we ordered none was good. Burgers were served completely cold, salads were missing half of ingredients listed in the menu and all of fish dishes were served undercooked- basically raw. Definitely not going back there.

Overall, it was good. They open at 7: 30am which is a huge plus since not many places open early. For breakfast, they have a buffet. They had to make my eggs three times. First, they heard scrambled eggs instead of sunny side up (?). Then, they overcooked it. It was accompanied with eye-rolling and not surreptitiously, but right in front of me.

A little expensive. But the food was pretty good. And service, overall, was also good.

It is not the best location if you want to swim in the ocean. Right in front of the restaurant the ocean is full of seaweed. I had to walk some distance to the right (when facing the water) to get some good swimming. But not a big deal. Good place if you don't want to spend at Voy Voy every day:).

I can’t believe there’s only one review for Serenade on here! This is definitely one of my top 3 restaurants in Cabarete. The food is always a hit; the staff is super kind; and the chef will accommodate pretty much anything you want that may not be on the menu. I have been living here for almost a year so I have been to ALL restaurants lol! Serenade is one of the restaurants I’ve chosen to have dinner with all my friends coming to visit for my 40th birthday sooooo yeah. Definitely give this restaurant a try.
