Un muy, muy buen restaurante en Cabarete. Ambiente agradable, comida sabrosa y buen servicio. Agradable y agradable conversación con el propietario. ¡Gracias!

Sirven un “bœuf bourguignon” que en realidad no lo es. Se supone que debe tener vino tinto y no tenía ninguno. Soy francés y este restaurante no representa adecuadamente la cocina francesa. Yo mismo puedo cocinar un bourguignon mejor aunque definitivamente no soy cocinero.

La comida era buena. El bistec estaba más cocido que medio.
¡Recomiendo encarecidamente el entrante Yuca!

Sin embargo, al final se añadirá el 28% (18% de impuestos, 10% de propina).

Uno de los mejores restaurantes en los que he estado. Visitamos cabarets para practicar kitesurf, pero la comida nos hace volver. Este lugar es excelente.

Después de un gran día de estar en el agua, este restaurante tiene un servicio increíble, buena comida y muchas opciones en un gran ambiente. Tiene un precio razonable y la comida es absolutamente deliciosa, ¡haga una parada aquí!

El anfitrión fue antipático/arrogante: aunque teníamos una reserva, no estaba dispuesto a darnos una mesa, a pesar de tener varias mesas libres preparadas para el tiempo que habíamos reservado. Después de insistir en conseguir una mesa, finalmente nos sentamos prácticamente al lado del restaurante. Estuvo bien, pero esta experiencia demostró que el anfitrión no tiene un sentido genuino de hospitalidad.
Toda la comida estaba rica, especialmente el boeuf bourguignon. Sin embargo, lamentablemente la tarta de cebolla estaba muy empapada y la carne que pedimos estaba muy masticable.
Entonces, en general, la experiencia gastronómica fue bastante decepcionante y no valió la pena el precio.

Precious little gem off the road, down the path to the beach. The host was most pleasant, smiling, cheerful, full of information and recommendations on all the cuisine. The restaurant is small, not more than a storefront. Only a table or two inside with another 5 or so outside. For dinner a reservation is a must. I have some digestive issues with common ingredients and they accommodated me without hesitation. We'll be back again.

The best restaurant that we visited in Cabarete! Very charming environment and great service. The food was excellent and reasonably price. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt, the best meal we have had in Dominican Republic. For French cuisine lovers, this is the spot. Aside from the excellent food, Stephan the owner is so attentive and provides top notch service to his clientele. I had the steak tartare, it was prepared perfectly. One had the 3 cheese cream penne pasta, which was to die for. The other two had the oven baked steak; a unique dish that was also decadent, with "smashed" style potatoes as a side. Thank you Stephan for such a wonder dining experience, we are now regulars!

We visited Le Bistro 3x during our stay in Cabarete.
The meals were all exquisite and the service was A1. Stephane the owner, was truly the ultimate host.
Definitely at the top of our list for next year.

Preciosa pequeña joya fuera de la carretera, por el camino a la playa. El anfitrión fue muy agradable, sonriente, alegre, lleno de información y recomendaciones sobre toda la cocina. El restaurante es pequeño, no más que una tienda. Sólo una mesa o dos dentro con otras 5 más o menos afuera. Para cenar es imprescindible reservar. Tengo algunos problemas digestivos con ingredientes comunes y me acomodaron sin dudarlo. Volveremos otra vez.

The service was amazing the waitress was kind and friendly. The food was ok. It was next to the areca hotel that we went to. We decided this place bc of the review and we didn’t want pizza. Maybe in the evenings the food /chef is different. We had lunch on Saturday afternoon.

Le Bistro is such an amazing place we came here twice for our 5 days trip! It’s not fancy pretentious food, it’s like the best comfort home cooked French food you can get. I’m from NYC and I don’t particularly prefer French cuisine in the city, but I really LOVED the food at Le Bistro! We will definitely be coming back when we come back to DR for kite surfing again.
