Lo pasé excelente en la escuela de kitesurf LEK y disfruté mucho de esta experiencia memorable.

Todo el equipo es increíblemente agradable, cálido y acogedor. Fue beneficioso aprender en este ambiente relajado y verdaderamente profesional. Me sentí como en casa con amigos que realmente te tratan como a una familia.

Como un verdadero principiante, pude aprender, progresar y disfrutar de mis lecciones gracias a la instrucción y el entrenamiento experimentado, paciente y personal que recibí de Santo. A pesar de mi nivel limitado siempre me sentí seguro y cómodo.

Fue como en un sueño y superó con creces todas mis expectativas. 5 estrellas en todos los aspectos. Muchas gracias a todos. Altamente recomendado.

¡La escuela LEK es genial! Me pusieron a montar 2 días seguidos, cosa que no me esperaba, y la sensación es casi indescriptible. Hermosa playa, vientos alisios constantes, equipo amigable y experto, opciones flexibles de lecciones/alquiler y todo lo último en equipos w.r. T.seguridad y rendimiento. Además, Cabarete y la República Dominicana son increíblemente divertidos. Tomé el autobús desde Santo Domingo, pero la próxima vez quizás vuele a Puerto Plata.

¡Otras vacaciones increíbles en Cabarete! ¡Gracias al equipo de LEK, (especialmente a Santo) por enseñarle a mi hijo a convertirse en un kitesurfista independiente, por el gran ambiente en la playa y su increíble hospitalidad!

El personal de LEK está muy bien informado, es amable y te trata como a una familia.
Para aquellos interesados ​​en lecciones, cuentan con instructores muy experimentados para todos los niveles y las cometas y el equipo de la escuela son nuevos y están en buen estado.
LEK también tiene la mejor ubicación en la playa.
Altamente recomendado.

Tuvimos la suerte de pasar el verano en Cabarete y decidimos hacer de LEK nuestra base para practicar kite mientras estábamos allí. Al estar allí durante tanto tiempo, pudimos conocer realmente al personal y a los instructores y cómo opera el equipo. ¡Estos chicos son los mejores! Cabarete puede ser un poco intimidante a veces, pero Alex llevó a mi esposa de principiante a independiente certificada por IKO en poco tiempo. Todos los instructores fueron pacientes, amigables, conocedores y una vez terminadas las lecciones, continuaron cuidándonos y dándonos consejos constantes sobre cómo mejorar. Fuimos testigos de cómo tuvieron cuidado de encontrar el instructor adecuado para cada estudiante dependiendo de la situación. Veo en otras reseñas la mención de sentirse como "familia" y ese fue definitivamente el caso para nosotros. Alex, Raúl y Youri fueron instructores increíbles, Amoure se encargó de TODAS nuestras necesidades de equipo como un profesional y Maxine y las chicas de la oficina fueron muy serviciales y amigables. Podría seguir, pero cuando esté en Cabarete y busque el mejor lugar al que llamar "hogar" durante su estancia, LEK es el lugar al que debe ir. Gracias chicos, ¡nos vemos el próximo verano!

Estuve 3 semanas en Cabarete y recibí lecciones cada vez que pude de Alex en LEK. Cada día fue una progresión gracias a su capacidad para concentrarse en el siguiente paso clave que necesitaba para seguir adelante. Me sentí muy seguro con el personal de LEK. Fueron muy comprensivos con los cambios de horario.

¡Volveré con ellos el próximo año!

I can't recommend this kiteboarding highly enough. I've been kiting from here regularly for over ten years. The set up is amazing for experienced kiters and for people learning; nicest place on the beach in Cabarete, super helpful team, cold beers and the fanciest air compressor I've ever seen. If you're looking to learn, I'm not sure there's a better school anywhere in the world. Laurel's team of instructors are so patient, IKO certified, radio helmets, the works. Our good friend traveled with us and just took lessons and learned was riding in a few lessons.

LEK is a professional and friendly kiteschool. From my point of view the school is the best in the world. I took lessons before but was never able to make so much progression as I did with Alex from Lek. He gave clear instructions, had a lot of patience and made me really into kitesurfing. Alex makes things visual, which really helps. Would definitely recommend this place to learn kitesurfing. The school itself has a really nice relaxed atmosphere. My LEK experience was amazing from start to finish! But it was too short, so I would recommend visiting LEK as soon as you get to Cabarete to get the most of your kite trip! The entire LEK team staff is extremely friendly and caring. The office staff Maxine, Aleks and Laurel took care of me on my first visit to get information, they made me feel welcome and explained the steps of how lessons work. I’m at a beginner level and I recommend LEK to everyone who wants to start or keep progressing before being autonomous: the people, the vibe, the location, it makes everything easy and fun!
My instructor Leo was so kind and friendly! He made sure I was safe and helped me feel confident. He confirmed my skills and level, and then we picked up from there to make sure I progress. And wow, in only two days I feel like I learned so much! Leo is a very great teacher, explaining, demonstrating, encouraging. And he was great at pushing me to trust myself and relax in the water. The waves and large number of riders in Cabarete can be intimidating, but I felt at ease thanks to him. His tips and guidance were always on point and helped me so much!
Thank you to the whole team at LEK. Can’t wait to come back soon to hopefully ride solo in beautiful Cabarete!

Je viens depuis des années à Cabarete et le centre de Laurel offre toujours la même qualité de service: du bon matériel, un staff accueillant, aidant et un bel endroit pour terminer sa session de kite. Bravo à l'équipe!

« Super friendly staff » is an understatement. Everything is well thought for the best kitesurfing experience - from the convenient lockers to the compressor, the tech support, spare parts, snacks and drinks, wifi, bathrooms, showers, etc…
Prime location, amazing instructors, and above all, Laurel’s caring welcome and smile.
Only downside I can think of is having to leave, eventually.

My kite gear got lost in flight but renting with LEK was a pleasure. Super friendly staff, rental billing by 5 minute blocks is only counted when you're on the water, and the equipment is top notch. My experience was so good I'm considering not even bringing my own gear next time to avoid baggage fees and potential loss/delays.
My daughter also took 4 days of lessons and had a great experience with the patient and friendly instructor. We'll be back next year to finish it off!

I would recommend LEK to anyone. The whole staff was welcoming and freindly. My instructor Wilder was a rockstar in helping me learn how to kite board. He was patient, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, flexible, fun and engaged. It was a pleasure to learn from him and hang out with him! They are at a great location in on the beach in Cabarete. Equipment was in excellent condition and customized to your needs each day. Thank you LEK for making my trip to Cabarete so awesome.

A tremendous gem in the Kite Board community. My instructor, Raul was Fabulous. Incredibly patient and positive. The school itself is perfectly located in Cabarete and the vibe amongst the staff and participants was super chill. I will be back!

Can't say enough good things about this school, I progressed more in 3 days than in my last 5 years of kiting. Teachers and everyone else are super nice and knowledgeable, pricing is very reasonable, equipment is top notch and location is obv perfect. Don't wait!

Can't wait for travel restrictions to lift so I can get back to Cabarete. LEK is always our home base of operations. Whether I bring my own gear, take a lesson, or rent a full setup for the family, they've always got what you need with a friendly island smile. We come back year after year. Lessons are excellent. Instructors give helpful and clear instructions and are super patient and motivating. Gear is in excellent shape and they have a great selections of kite sizes and boards. Can't beat the prices.

I can't say enough thanks to the staff at LEK. I was having a bad day of gear failures and the boys at LEK did their best to help me. Sadly it was not salvageable at the time but they did more than one could have ever expected to helm me. Everyone was welcoming and so friendly. In the end I got someone at a shop uo in Kite beach with all the proper gear to fix it and I was back at the end of the evening kiting! I would have given up guys, Thanks a million!

Great experience here. The staff is very patient and friendly. I got my kite tangled up and had to emergency eject, but someone was watching and came to rescue me within a couple of minutes even though I was pretty far out. Highly recommend!
