Kite Club Cabarete Kiteboarding School

Awesome place to learn how to kite or hang out and grab a drink or some food. The people here are awesome teachers that will quickly help you learn how to kite, foil board, kite surf etc. I’ve had an awesome time with them and they’re definitely the best kite club in cabarete.

Hands down the best place to chill and have a good time in cabarete. The staff and the family that runs the place will make your kit experience reach another level.

It is such a pity how this place which used to be the center for kite enthusiast has been destroyed. There is new ownership which is not always bad but in the case it means lots of negatives happen.

Such a bad experience and bad vibe. People are arrogant and didn’t want to make me come back, we stayed 4 months in Cabarete and never returned, not to mention prices are really high, but it was mainly the treatment that made us go elsewhere.

SERIOUSLY? Charging people to enter a public beach? This GREED is why your business is a failure. Pretentious and Rip off Business, nobody is going there anymore because of this bad reputation.

Really Bad! You'll get taxed 10$ per day just to access a public beach! And get ripped off by fake prices only for gringos.go elsewhere

Bad! The overpriced food and drinks gave food poising to a few of us. Then if you launch your kite from in front, the owner, the old bald guy that always wears the same t-shirt every day, will run after you to charge you a "access to the beach" tax, taking advantage of the fact that there is very little beach access in Cabarete. Even local kids can't access their own public beach, taxed by a greedy foreigner. Should be criminal. Don't encourage this, go elsewhere

Right in front of the beach, great food, nice and friendly staff. Its a pretty cool place to be with friends and family. Kitesurfing the best experience for my kids.and for everyone!

10$ a day just to access to the beach to go kiting. Privatizing access to the sea is of such a bad spirit, not what we see elsewhere on the island.

DO NOT GO THERE! It’s a scam. I’ve never experience such a bad quality of cocktails and staff, which is so rude and arrogant.

They even have 2 different price lists and of course, they will try to point on the more expensive one when you pay and make you pay almost double the price with a smile on.

I’ve been there 3 times and every visit was the same experience. Once I ordered the quesadilla with cheese and the bartender tried to convince me it’s the same price like the chicken one, until I showed him the difference on the price list. Same situations with cocktails. They told me it’s a party and every cocktail is a double price. Even when a guy before me order the same drink for less. You will get the cheapest ingredients inside. I even got a stomach ache that night.

Better save your money and spend it in some quality places in Cabarete. I will never go there again.

Prices are on the higher side and my teacher didn't speak much - mostly just was there to help if I messed something up. For $70/hour you would expect a little better service

Very good place to start your adventure with kitesurfing/kiteboarding. Good instructors, good equipment and flat water.

Really great place to learn kite surfing. My teacher was really patient and encouraging. Nice vibes at the bar and restaurant where you can watch the pros on the water

Cool place and great spot for experienced kitesurfers. The vibes are great and staff are awesome.

The only negative: Kites DAILY get stuck in the trees by the shore, its a really tricky launch & land during high tide. Do yourself a favor and go up or down wind where the beach is bigger to avoid being someone's instagram story.

Really liked this kiting spot! Very convenient with parking and the restaraunt is perfect for lunch in between kiting

We had a wonderful time and learned a lot! They were very accommodating of our compressed schedule. Our two instructors, Harrison and Carlos, were terrific! We'll be back.

The school is really full facilities and can accomodate anything that student wants. I really feeling welcome here. The staff is so friendly and amazing. I meet new people with same enthusiast here. They are really up to date with kitesurfing world.
