Hotel Villa Taina

Habitación un poco pequeña, pero bonita. ¡Me gusta este hotel porque está bien ubicado, tiene una bonita piscina y buena comida!

Me encanto porque es un pequeño hotel bien organizado. Sus habitaciones estaban muy limpias y muy agradable a la vista para el costo de lo se paga. La ubicación del mismo se encuentra del lado de la playa, muy cerca de los restaurantes y discotecas.este lugar lo recomiendo para personas que buscan realizar katesurf.

A chocolate masterclass I was on with Cacao-latitudes booked us at this hotel. It was a great experience here. The staff was excellent. Every single person was friendly. Vladimir brought me chocolate when he found out we were there on a chocolate class. The entire staff was fantastic. At night, there was a cool musician at the bar playing great music.
Our teachers rented an upstairs area for us overlooking the beach and the staff kept it loaded with food and drinks while we took our classes. It’s right on the beach and an easy walk to many great restaurants. After classes, we would jump in the ocean. I loved Cabarete and this hotel.

Made a reservation for the Jazz Festival November 12th-13th on October thru booking, 4 days before the trip they CANCELLED my reservation claiming they couldn’t pass my credit card and that they attempted to call me several times (blatant lie), we had to look for another place to stay.
The hotel might be decent and have a good location, but their customer services is despicable and they won’t bat an eye cancelling your reservation if there is high-demand and they might fetch more money from a different customer!

Una clase magistral de chocolate en la que estaba con Cacao-latitudes nos reservó en este hotel. Fue una gran experiencia aquí. El personal fue excelente. Cada persona fue amable. Vladimir me trajo chocolate cuando se enteró de que estábamos allí en una clase de chocolate. Todo el personal fue fantástico. Por la noche, había un músico genial en el bar tocando buena música.
Nuestros maestros alquilaron un área de arriba para nosotros con vista a la playa y el personal la mantuvo llena de comida y bebidas mientras tomábamos nuestras clases. Está justo en la playa y a poca distancia a pie de muchos excelentes restaurantes. Después de clases, saltábamos al océano. Me encantó Cabarete y este hotel.

Es un hotel centrico, tranquilo, bonito y con acceso directo a la playa. Fuimos 18 personas en un viaje de familia y nos gustó la estadía.

Doy 3 estrellas en el servicio porque tienen oportunidades de mejora, aunque la persona que me atendió las reservas se llama Anselma y con ella todo fue excelente:). Cuando hicimos el check in ella no estaba y al inicio no fue excelente porque recibimos resistencia por parte de la persona que nos atendió para un cambio de habitaciones que solicitamos entre nuestras mismas reservas (teniamos 9 habitaciones reservadas), porque según ellos tenían que hacer todo desde cero, pero se nos habia informado que se podian hacer cambios porque no se nos consulto en que piso iban a colocar a cada quien. Eramos de edades distintas por lo tanto los cambios eran necesarios. La opción que nos daban previo al cambio es que podiamos reasignarnos nosotros mismos (cambiarnos las tarjetas de las habitaciones aunque esten a nombre de otra persona), lo que preferimos no hacer para evitar inconvenientes con los consumos y si alguien cargaba algo a la habitación equivocada no tener problemas.

Adicionalmente sugiero que refuercen la amabilidad del personal en el horario del desayuno.

A pesar de eso, volveriamos a hospedarnos en el hotel.

Sehr gepflegt und sauber. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Lage mitten in der feinen Sandbucht von Cabarete ist perfekt für alle Wassersportarten. Die Surfschule hat alles, was das Herz begehrt. Unser Lieblingsplatz war die Terrasse oberhalb des Restaurants. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen in jeder Hinsicht.

El hotel es correcto! Las habitaciones normalitas, para estar en el caribe es el hotel mas aburrido que he estado nunca solo hay gente mayor. La gente de recepción a excepción de un chico el resto un 0. Lo único que le doy buena puntuación es a los camareros del bar y a las chicas de la limpieza. No recomiendo nada alojarse aquí.

Muy bien mantenido y limpio. Personal muy amable y atento. La ubicación en medio de la bahía de arena fina de Cabarete es perfecta para todos los deportes acuáticos. La escuela de surf tiene todo lo que tu corazón desea. Nuestro lugar favorito era la terraza encima del restaurante. Puedo recomendar calurosamente el hotel en todos los sentidos.

Hice una reserva para el Festival de Jazz del 12 al 13 de noviembre en octubre a través de la reserva, 4 días antes del viaje, CANCELARON mi reserva alegando que no podían pasar mi tarjeta de crédito y que intentaron llamarme varias veces (mentira descarada), tuvimos que buscar otro lugar para quedarnos.
El hotel puede ser decente y tener una buena ubicación, pero su servicio al cliente es despreciable y no dudarán en cancelar su reserva si hay una gran demanda y ¡podrían obtener más dinero de un cliente diferente!

I’ve been coming to DR for 8 years now and this is such a hidden gem I discovered, I mean I always knew about Villa Rainey u can’t miss it but I never ate at the restaurant, I’m a foodie and this place is the one to go if u want something delicious, love the ceviche, tacos and burritos, fish is always fresh and Ask for bartender Vanessa she always makes the best margaritas and mojitoes, Noelli is such a great waitress, and Danny the manager is always a friendly face to see, thank u for such a great service!
We also have been watching the World Cup there, they have the biggest tv in Cabarette and a nice couch set up! Thanks Danny, great job! Plus they have all the kiting and windsurfing equipment right there set up for you!

Wir hatten trotz gesundheitlichen Problemen einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Hotel in top Lage! Das gesamte Personal war immer sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Hatten ein super schönes und grosses Zimmer direkt am Pool bekommen. Das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch an der Bar hat es uns sehr gefallen und wir haben den ein oder anderen Cocktail genossen. Wir möchten uns nochmal für die außergewöhnliche super Betreuung und Hilfe während meiner Erkrankung herzlich bedanken! Wir kommen wieder! Very cool location close to everything (walking distance) in Cabarete. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was clean and spacious and we had a great view. They offer a big choice of breakfast options just at the beach. We definitely come back!:)

We were refugees from Hurricane Fiona and the staff made us feel most welcome. Our stay was longer than expected but mostly pleasant. We had reserved the large suite downstairs but had to request a move because (as others have said) there was a musty odor. Also the fan was making some noise.

The room we were moved to was acceptable. The bed was somewhat hard but otherwise ok. The sink had a large drain hole that was uncovered. I like to use the sink with water in it, but that was impossible. The two soap dispensers (there was no shampoo or conditioner) were difficult to operate and dispensed a very small amount with each pump.

As a person with disabilities, I have to be careful where there is a wet surface on the floor. The restaurant is in an outside building and one has to cross over walkways with fairly slippery stones including having to go up an incline at one point. There were puddles all over the place and no apparent effort to clear the water. At a minimum, there should be some kind of non-skid materials placed on the stones and concrete.

A couple of the receptionists were very courteous and knowledgeable. But, as we checked out, the very young lady who tried to help us was clueless about the bill. The bill is in German and the size of many spreadsheets. It appeared that she was requesting a lot more for the stay than should have been. I speak fluent Spanish, but she just didn't understand or could explain the bill. We finally worked through it and resolved an issue than should not have been a problem. I was correct that the total was far less.

The Assistant Manager, Lena (sp?) was most gracious throughout our stay and constantly asked if there was anything we needed. She is quite an asset.

This Boutique Hotel delivered on every aspect. Initial check-in was friendly and quick. The room was clean, comfortable and fully stocked with toiletries, sufficient towels and A peaceful tropical view from my balcony.

Everything one could possibly need was 100 feet away whether it was the beach, the restaurant, the bar, reception or even the middle of downtown Cabarete.

So many wonderful staff from Walter at the front reception or Andris and Katherine in the restaurant and of course Daniela who oversees both the restaurant and the bar with a quiet and understated level of professionalism and caring.

The most surprising part of this hotel experience was the exquisite food that was served morning, afternoon and night. I had friends that live on the island join me for dinner every night because they could not recommend anywhere better after dining with me on the first night and couldn’t wait to come back

I have travelled all over the world and experienced some of the nicest resorts but would have no reservations about recommending Hotel Taina for those open to having a more intimate lodging experience. What this hotel may lack in amenities, it more than made up for in value and attention to details that matter to a traveller like myself. Food, cleanliness and customer service are important ingredients to a successful and enjoyable vacation and Hotel Taina delivered everything I could have asked for…can’t wait to return

The location is perfect and the staff were so accommodating. I got very sick and they brought in health care staff and called an ambulance for me on the first night. They went above and beyond. The security guard went to the store to get water bottles and deliver them to us. He also kindly offered to walk me to the pharmacy so I could get some medicine. I was so grateful for their care and hospitality.

Excellent all around, Great breakfast included. Ok went back in July 2022, Totally enjoyed my stay.

The service was amazing.every single employee was cordial and friendly. Whenever we would arrive at night the guard made sure to wait outside until we made it in the building. The place is kept clean at all times.

This was a group trip of friends for kiteboarding and surfing. Really the perfect place for kiteboarding. Rooms are clean, mattresses are quite firm but fine, all the staff is super pleasant and accommodating. They have a restaurant and bar on the beach which we felt was best for lunch but they serve all meals. The air hose to inflate kites was not operational. Just walk along the beach for a ton of other restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. It would make a great couples getaway also.for the pricepoint, location, cleanliness, amenities it is a great place.
