Hotel Villa Carolina

This hotel is an absolute gem in Puerta Plata. My only regret is that I was not able to stay longer. The rate is very fair. It offers a pleasant breakfast and the hotel itself is beautiful. It is a little bit hidden behind a home, but that just adds to the allure as it is very peaceful and quiet yet still relatively close to all of the attractions in Puerta Plata. I highly recommend this hotel for all travelers.

No me gustó para nada el desayuno. Sólo pagos en efectivo. Me gustó el área de la piscina, pequeña pero un ambiente acogedor. No me gustó la habitación.

Hicimos una reservacion por su página de booking. Com llegamos, no recibió una señora grocera, y no dijo que estaba lleno fríamente como si una reservacion no fuera un compromiso, deberían sacarlos de Internet, llegar allí es tenebroso, inseguro, sucio, lleno de perro y gato gracias a Dios no nos quedamos allí, (no tengo nada en contra de los animales), pero se veían los pelos de ellos en el piso.

Great place with very helpful staff. Fantastic fresh fruit breakfast (mangos from the trees near the pool). Conviently located near guagua stops and bus stations. They don't push any activities instead they tell you how to explore on your own.

Si lo que busca es estar en el centro de la ciudad, en un lugar donde puedas descansar sin bullicio, en ambiente familiar, sin musica estridentes, este es el lugar indicado. He estado en varios hoteles en puerto plata, la higiene del local, el calor humano, hacen unico este estableciminto. Lo recomiendo

Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité de francia et sa gentillesse cet hiver 2018! La convivialité avec les autres pensionnaires de l'hôtel le jardin la piscine nous ont ravis plus que les chambres propres mais pas assez cocooning à mon goût! Toutefois le souvenir demeure beau! Merci francia!

Small family owned hostel with own pool. Nearby center. Very calm and friendly place. Just a bit far from beaches.
