Me alojé en Surf Salvacion y me encantó. Todas las habitaciones estaban equipadas con muy buen gusto y estaban limpias y eran muy cómodas, con electrodomésticos y muebles nuevos. Todo lo que necesitas ahí mismo.

La piscina es un gran lugar para descansar y relajarse después de surfear rodeada de un exuberante jardín tropical. ¡Es muy tranquilo y silencioso y era como estar en un sueño de playa/surf! El hotel está situado a un corto y hermoso paseo de la playa, donde encontrará fantásticas olas. ¡Volveré otra vez!

Sitio para evitar, reservas una habitación y cuando estás en el lugar te obligan a coger una con más camas que no necesitas para cobrar más, cuando llegas no hay nadie que abra la puerta y tienes que esperar más de una hora en la puerta para que aparezca alguien. Un desastre.

Se siente como un pequeño oasis a menos de 10 minutos a pie de la playa con las mejores olas de la zona.
Babette, la gerente fue muy servicial y amable durante nuestra estancia, nos hizo sentir como en casa.
Consejo profesional: justo en la esquina de la calle está María, también conocida como Coco loco. Pídele un coco o un plato típico dominicano, ¡no te arrepentirás!

Puedo describir este hotel como jugador polivalente en el campo.
Estoy seguro de que podrás experimentar el mejor lugar en Caberete con el mejor anfitrión, camioneta (perro encantador) y Nani (gato dulce).

1. Habitación: La condición siempre es buena, no hay humedad con la sartén. Amplia ventana de cristal que permitía la entrada de luz solar brillante.
Tienes una pequeña cocina/nevera para que puedas cocinar en la habitación. Es un ambiente muy cómodo para las vacaciones.
2. Jardín: Tienen una pequeña piscina/mesa de tenis/bicicleta/automoto en el jardín rodeado de enormes palmeras.
3. Disfrute: Puede disfrutar del surf con una gran ola por la mañana, lo que le llevará solo de 5 a 10 minutos a pie.
Después de eso, puede aprender una lección de yoga o recibir un masaje para relajar su cuerpo y mente. (¡Mi favorito!)

This was a great place to stay as a solo female traveler. I felt safe and the setting was gorgeous. There’s a nice pool and games to play like ping pong. My studio was spacious and I especially loved the outdoor space with a hammock, table and chairs. You do have to take a taxi into town, but they are easy to hail from the main road.

Ziemlich genau vor einem Jahr) waren wir hier in den Ferien. Auch ein Jahr später denken wir oft an diesen wunderschönen Ort. Hier war der perfekte Ort für uns um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und es uns einfach gut gehen zu lassen. Babette ist eine super Gastgeberin und sehr hilfsbereit. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Camp ist super schön gestaltet und bietet ruhige Atmosphäre. Der Surfunterricht hat Spass gemacht! Die Geckos haben uns den Aufenthalt zusätzlich versüsst.

Walter und Jeannette are the most lovely and caring hosts you could imagine. They were the cherry on top of our stay. The accommodations have everything you need to have a good time (chess, table-tennis, pool, barbecue, …) Chepe is a cool guy too and ensured us great fun with his surflessons in Pauhana.
We‘d come back any day!

Un lugar cómodo, limpio, cuenta con cocina, agradable terraza, área de piscina, playa está cerca, igual el pueblo de Cabarete. Se cobra un costo adicional por el uso del aire acondicionado.

Babette führt das Hooked Cabaret Surf & Kite Camo mit viel Liebe und Hingabe. Man wird herzlichst umsorgt und fühlt sich von Anfang an wie zuhause.

Great location, Cabarete is a couple miles away with great food with patios out on the beaches. Accommodations and facilities are great, including a pool and many other activities.

If you want to surf everyday, near the water, no frills, just the basics, but clean. They have yoga classes too. Very peacefull and relaxing place.

The new manager is not a very polite person - She was all over us attending us 3-4 times a day with a lot of questions for her own curiosity. When she said she would text us, she just came anyway. Over and over. We were there 1 week, but 5 days all alone in the camp. I cannot suggest that.
She was very very eager to book surf-lessons with "their partner" which they own themselve. She asked 3 times within the first day we arrived.
In her mind - It was not an option to rent with others. We ended up renting with them - That was a local og unic experience. The lessons were 20-35 minutes shorter than told on their website - not satisfying. The shoes we rented was damaged, but the boards were good. Could have wished that the people would have taken pictures of us on the water.
The place itself is wonderfull and the rest of the people were very nice and relaxed.
So if you like to be social with your host everyday multiple times - then this place is good. If you are looking for a private og relaxing vacation - you can get a lot of better places for the same amount of money. We had 1 week at another place which was absolutely amazing.

Beautiful place with amazing hosts. I spent 5 days there to take surf lessons. The accommodations are great and the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. From airport transportation, to surf lessons, to having delicious pizza delivered, she took care of everything. Can’t wait to come back.

A little oasis in Cabarete.
I travel a lot and usually don't revisit the same places, but it's my third visit now at Hooked. It cannot be closer to the surf spot playa Encuentro. The owners cannot be more kind and helpful. I travel solo, and here it's the place to meet great people!
Very cheap to be the number 1 in Tripadvisor!

Just came back from another wonderful vacation at Hooked Cabarete, the perfect place to relax, enjoy the nice climate at the beach and do a lot of sports such as surfing or kiting. Thanks Walter and Jeannette for the great hospitality!

Este hotel es verdaderamente acogedor. El jardín tropical esta muy cuidado, un pequeño oasis de paz y tranquilidad. Las habitaciones son simples pero cómodas y muy limpias. La playa esta a menos de 5 minutos andando, excelente playa para el surf, pero cuidado con las corrientes. Hay un buen ambiente entre los clientes! Y el trato de los propietarios es excepcional. El hotel se encuentra a 4km del pueblo de Cabarete. Lo recomiendo!

I didn't stay as a guest at the lodge, just spent an afternoon there as a guest of a guest.
Still, the host was very friendly and generous, great facilities and atmosphere.
If we ever start surfing, or are in the area for another reason, we'd stay at Hooked Cabarete Surf and Kite Camp. Highly recommended!
