No recomendaría comprarles nada.
Tried some cigars, chocolates, Mamajuana and fresh mangos! Winston was an absolute pleasure! Helped us find some good quality goods to take back home to the family and friends, and made us laugh the whole time.
They sold me a $25 bottle of mamajuana. It was $8 in the supermarket. Kudos to them for ripping me off but I would recommend to NOT buy anything there.
It's a Place where you can Know how to create a cigar, jewelry with Ambar and Larimar. It's has a shop where you can bay Ron, handcraft jewelry and a lots of thinks gifts
We stopped here on our way back to our ship during our excursion during our cruise on the Celebrity Reflection. I was a bit wary initially. The guide wanted us to watch cigars being rolled which I had absolutely no interest. However, the shop had some nice local wares. I purchased a bottle of premium aged rum, some coffee, and a box of chocolates. Later, we had to go through the duty-free shop to reboard our ship and I found the same bottle of rum for $4 more (not counting the coffee or chocolate). There are restrooms here, but don't expect much in this department.
1$ US = 54$ CAD.
Nice store, nice owner, no price tags on goods so be ready to negotiate or know what's worth what. But very cool place.
Extremely informative about Dominican cigars. What I like most was they allowed you to smoke a cigar of your choosing. I price the same cigar in the cigar lounge that is in town and for the price of two cigars in town you can get a box of 10 so they extended the wholesale pricing to the customer if you shopped with in the shop.
This place is awesome, great cigars, and drinks. I've learned a lot about the history of the root drink and the complexity of cigar making. This establishment doesn't force you purchase anything as well.
Fairly high factor for tourist trap but still interesting to see the manufacture of cigars. Of course, next to the production was a store where they wanted to sell a lot of tourist gadgets. As usual, the starting price was too high but as usual it worked to bargain on the final price. The place was worth a visit if you are nearby.
Overpriced little shop, but you learn a lot about cigars and how they are made they give you a presentation.
