Nuestra organizadora de bodas fue Wendy Wharton. ¡Desde el principio, ella fue profesional y su única preocupación era NUESTRO día! Tuvimos 8 meses para planificar nuestra boda, y el seguimiento y la comunicación de Wendy fueron excelentes. Tuvimos una ceremonia en una playa privada en Turks y Caicos. Nunca me sentí estresado, ni preocupada de que nuestro día fuera todo menos fabuloso. Wendy manejó TODA la comunicación con el resort. ¡Nuestra organizadora de bodas fue Maddy y fue increíble! Ella estaba tratando con la novia más estresada e indecisa (¡¡yo! Jajaja) y manejó la situación con profesionalismo y gracia. Después de varios intentos fallidos con otros planificadores, Maddy logró organizar una hermosa ceremonia/recepción en 4 semanas. ¡Su espíritu es hermoso y fue absolutamente encantador trabajar con ella! La comunicación clara y directa de Maddy hizo que las semanas previas a nuestra boda fueran un poco menos desafiantes y por eso siempre estaré agradecida. ¡Ella realmente ama lo que hace y se nota! No te decepcionará trabajar con Maddy. ¡La elegiría antes de mirar cualquier resort con más de 1000 establecimientos! Our wedding planner took our dream and made it a reality! I recommend Destination Weddings to any bride or couple planning a wedding. They really gave us the best day we could have imagined!

Wendy is amazing! She truly made our wedding planning process go smoothly. Excellent communication. Complete understanding of what we wanted. Great surprises as well. She helped us create the perfect wedding! Felix our photographer was the best choice! He was so much fun! Chief Peter & his wife created the most delicious buffet. Everything we asked for! Our cake was gorgeous! The lighting was beautiful! She chose EduarTaxi Cabarete & their family took excellent care of us. Brought us everywhere we wanted to go. Our ATV tour with Outback Adventures was awesome! Wendy & her team were incredible! Thank you Wendy, Andrew, Massiel, Eduar & his family, Felix, Chief Peter & his wife, Revnardo Ramon Medina & Junior from Outback Adventures. We will definitely be back to the DR!

HORRIBLE CON-ARTIST THAT DIDN'T EVEN COME TO MY WEDDING AFTER TAKING MY MONEY! After taking my money all the consultations were super short. She never took any notes on anything since she asked me via email and verbally like 3-4 times the same questions (theme colors, decor, hairstyles, venue, etc). She shorted me on the amount of consults I was promised. The ones I did have were never any longer than 5-10 minutes. Didn't look at venue till 3 weeks before wedding. It was all so shady but I was at her mercy the closer we got to the wedding and she had also taken my money. I finally expressed my concerns to her and she apologized for making me feel that way and assured me she would deliver and make me happy. Three days later she tells me she won't be coming to the wedding (this was 1 week before the wedding at this point). Of course I was in tears and she told me her assistant would be taking her place. The day before the wedding I pay-paled Wendy our remaining balance and Wendy's husband (since Wendy is too much of a coward) calls me and tells me he returned our payment and demanded we pay the assistant in Cash. I'm not sure if you know how difficult it is to find an ATM in D. R.that will dispense large amounts of cash on a weekend.but it is nearly impossible. We had to rent a car to leave the resort area and go to several banks to retrieve that amount of cash since she threatened to CANCEL EVERYTHING UNLESS WE HAD CASH. I was supposed to meet her assistant at the venue, she was 4 hours late (no one cared about wasting our precious vacation time) and we gave her the cash. The florists arrived with dead flowers, the chaffing dishes we were invoiced for never arrived, and the assistant nor the decorator had any idea about what the venue looked like, nor where the altar would be. NOTHING. I had to take the time to explain and at this point I was crying, mad and feeling every negative emotion at the same time taking over my body. I was exhausted. My guests worked through the night to try and revive what flowers they could (sugar in water went a long way). After the assistant took the cash we never saw her again. My wedding day I called her and she said she had an emergency and wouldn't be coming. So on my wedding day I had NO WEDDING PLANNER. Then the photographer starts crying and tells me she was never paid. I think my husband gave her $100-200 to help her get home since at this point we had exhausted the amount of cash we could get out hands on from ATM's and just didn't have the time to keep running around on our wedding day. It was the most miserable feeling on my wedding day crying, having vendors cry to ME, having to act as a wedding planner and arrange everything myself because as soon as everyone had cash they vanished into THIN AIR. I've submitted a claim through pay-pal to try and retrieve my deposit and the very least since I can't do anything about all the cash Wendy got away with. She is a heartless woman who takes advantage of Brides. It's a perfect scam really. You're in a different country so you hire someone to be your hands, eyes and ears in the DR to get everything ready for you on your wedding day. After she's got your money there's nothing you can do but hope for the best because you won't find out just how incompetent and horrible she is until it's too late. Don't let her ruin your wedding day. I still haven't gotten pictures from my wedding day, the photographer was candid enough to share with me that Wendy told her she wouldn't be paying her and to get more money from me because she has my wedding pictures as collateral. The photographer is a really sweet lady but I can understand she never got paid by Wendy even though Wendy did get my money to pay her. So I may never see my wedding pictures unless I cough up even more money. Heartbroken doesn't even begin to describe my experience with Wendy from Dominican Dream Weddings. Please don't do this to your brides.

Complete scam artist! Don't give her your money! She will take it and run! We paid with PayPal and are now disputing it. A week before wedding she dropped the bomb that she wouldn't be there and instead said her assistant would be at the wedding in her place. We hired a wedding planner NOT an assistant? ! A week before the wedding there wasn't much we could do at that point so our hands were tied. The day before the wedding we sent wendy our remaining balance via PayPal and she returned it back and demanded we pay her assistant cash. So we did. Guess who never showed up to the wedding day? Instead my bride was left crying and trying to put together the wedding herself on our wedding day. As a groom it broke my heart seeing the woman I love suffer this way due to this con- artist wedding planner. She wouldn't answer directly to any of my calls nor my wife's, instead she was a coward and either ignored us or filtered our calls through her husband. Don't waste your money on someone like Wendy who has no heart nor problem taking your money and attempting to ruin one of the most important days of your lives.

When I was just starting to plan my wedding I was so overwhelmed! I had really no idea on what this will entail. I am so thankful I came across Dominican dream weddings!
Wendy did give me my dream wedding from start to finish and the best part no stress!

When we started working with Dominican Dream Weddings we had no idea what to expect. All we knew is that we wanted to renew our vows in the Caribbean. Wendy and her team took care of us every step of the way. These guys are the BEST.

I had been looking around for someone to help me with planning my wedding, we had decided to get married in the Dominican. I looked at doing it on my own and wow, I don't know the language or rules and laws and who has good food and venues and I got all stressed out, so I decided to find a wedding planner. I emailed the few there, and one got back one didn't, some weren't even licensed and then, I found Wendy from Dominican Dream Weddings and she is my dream wedding planner! She will work with my budget and she isn't a bully who tries to push stuff on me. She understands what I want and goes above and beyond. She knows things and if she doesn't have an answer, she doesn't lie, she will say, let me get back to you on that, and she does! She has melted my stress away and I honeslty can't say enough about Wendy. She truly cares about our wedding and she even has some great ideas about discovering what this great island has to offer. She has shown us that its not just resorts, it is waterfalls and excursions and its endless. We are so excited to have found Wendy and can't wait for our special day. We are so excited and there is no doubt, there is only one choice for the right person to plan our wedding.
