No idea why Foto Coral felt they had to give us 3 stars and state the obvious. Yes, we are near the City Hall. The map shows this. They have not stayed here, visited here and they are nothing to do with the condos.

Fully equipped rooms in a great location. Helpful and responsive administrator. Highly recommended!

I stood here for about 8 days 1st off your cant be in the pool after 10pm there is no guards water pressure suckes saw a water bug in my room IT WAS HUGE! And in order for you to use the AC you need to pay 15RD per 1000kw you use with is crazy when the ac draws power even when off when i told this to the manager he tried to say it was impossible until the Kilowatt counter Magically raised right in front of us he tried to say don't worry I will not get charge but imagine if I didn't notice.one guy had to pay $300 after his stay because he used the AC which makes no sense because even if I ran of 10000 BTU AC the entire day for a month I doubt my electric Bill would reach $300. One of the part owners was Russian Or Ukrainian Im not 100% sure but was very rude if you laughed after 10 o'clock he would come out very rudely telling us to be quiet people cannot sleep they are children staying when hes the only 1 that can hear us and the only one complaining I got the sence that he didn't like seeing people having a good time I heard one story about that seem guy knocked on the door of someone who was staying there with a newborn child because the child would not stop crying at night and told them to keep the child quiet people need to sleep it's a child for Christ sakes. No type of security what so ever so you dont get the sense of being safe unless your 5 beers in The place is OK but if you ask me I would rather stay at the Victorian house closer to the beach Looks a lot better They clean your room daily unlimited AC And you can screem to your heart's consent and no one will Complain Much more safe and secure and did I mention Unlimited AC the only downside is no one in the pool after 8

My girlfriend and I stayed here for approximately 3 weeks in April. We rented a studio room #5 at Condos Dominicano via Airbnb through Lindsay. First off, they arranged a taxi pickup for us from the airport through a reputable, english speaking, Canadian driver who was fantastic (Angelo, Speedy Rodriguez), and made us feel well looked after. The condo is a gated community that is well-hidden from the road, but once you step through the gates, is like a hidden oasis full of greenery, palm trees, tables and sun-bathing chairs, and a gorgeous pool. The grounds are always very clean, as there is a "pool-boy" there everyday cleaning and is able to get you big 5 gallon jugs of water for a mere 50 pesos (1 USD). The rooms are also cleaned approximately twice/week, usually monday and thursday for us, and they do an excellent job. The room itself had everything that we needed and did not disappoint. We did not have to use A/C, as the unit was well-hidden from the days sun. The best things about this condo are the PEOPLE and the LOCATION. We were very well taken care of, as Orlando, local, english speaking manager always was a WhatsApp message away and responded immediately and Lindsay was great at communicating via Airbnb. The other tenants here were also very friendly and we made friends with multiple fellow Canadians throughout our stay. The environment here is very friendly and commune. At night, there is a night watchman present on the grounds watching the gate, which made us feel very safe. Not one time during our stay, did I feel unsafe at the Condo, or the surrounding area of Sosua. We found the location to be excellent as you are walking distance to everything (within 5-10 mins) : Pedro Clisante (street where all the nightlife, bars, restaurants with cheap eats is), Sosua beach (the local beach, where snorkelling is popular), Alicia beach (beach next to the Casa Marina resort, European vibes) and don't forget to hop in a "Publico" (public car taxi) for a mere 50 pesos (1USD) and head to Cabarete to check out another gorgeous beach town that is famous for windsurfing and kiteboarding, and Encuentro Beach, where we spent a lot of time learning to surf! Overall, we had an amazing trip, and would highly recommend staying here.
NOTES:
-Prostitution is legal in Sosua, so be aware of this and realize that this is a common thing. Some tenants may have "Caliente Girls" that they have with them at the condo. Never once did I feel uncomfortable or unsafe with this.
-We had to pay for our own electricity. Over 3 weeks our total only ended up being $25 USD, however we never once turned on the A/C. If you need A/C, keep this in mind and budget accordingly.

Very nice and quiet spot but close to entertainment area. Very good value if staying for a week and want out of a hotel.

I love this place. Is like home away from home. The place is nice quiet, comfortable and the service is great.

This is the place to be if you really want to enjoy what Sousa has to offer. It is literally walking distance from the beach, the bank, the supermarket, the strip (where the fun is at) etc, I stayed in an upstairs condo that was spacious, quiet, and clean. The manager is very understanding and considerate with all your inquiries. Enjoyment is endless in Sousa and Condos Dominicano is an extension of such entertainment.
