Buena comida a un precio muy asequible.

Estuve aquí por 12 días y vine a almorzar y cenar durante aproximadamente 6 días.

Casi todo lo que hay en el menú es genial.

Pedimos un Sal César y un filete de ternera (medio crudo) con verduras. La ensalada venía con salsa francesa embotellada y el filete de res estaba chamuscado de 4 mm, crudo y frío en el medio. El peor filete de ternera de mi vida.

Fui con una familia de 6 adultos y 4 niños. Todo lo que pedimos fue muy bueno, especialmente bolas fritas de rosotto porcini, carne boloñesa Angus marroquí, pechuga de pollo envuelta en prosciutto y camarones a la crema. De hecho, fuimos dos veces durante nuestra estancia de 7 días.

Great place to go when you rent a villa in Casa Linda, Love the pancakes, food was delicious, staff made me feel welcome and even remembered my usual drink when I came by! Only issue is the flies, but that's not their fault so I won't take away any stars. Thank you, Castaway!

Excelente lugar para ir cuando alquilas una villa en Casa Linda. Me encantan los panqueques, la comida era deliciosa, el personal me hizo sentir bienvenido e incluso recordó mi bebida habitual cuando llegué. El único problema son las moscas, pero no es culpa suya, así que no le quitaré ninguna estrella. ¡Gracias Náufrago!

Ordered Italian bruschetta. Menu said tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh basil, red onion and pesto sauce on a toasted baguette.

What I got was 3 thin baguette slices, not toasted, with pico de gallo and a piece of shaved ham. When I questioned it, the waitress argued with me that this was Italian bruschetta. So I asked why is there salsa on it? Where is the mozzarella? Where’s the basil? Where’s the pesto? I asked her to take it back.

A manager returned with the same dish they squirted pesto on and some shredded Parmesan. She told me the pico de gallo was the tomato and the Parmesan is mozzarella. I’m sorry, but if you’re out of the ingredient just say it, don’t lie as if it’s something it’s not.

I took one bite and those ingredients don’t blend well. When the waitress came to pick up empty plates from the rest of my party, she picked up the appetizer. At no time was there an apology or an offer to order something else.

We are a large party of 7 who would have probably eaten here and had cocktails many times throughout the next week - but we’ll take our money elsewhere.

Food is nothing extraordinary or even close to being good. Be careful, they make up/ change their prices if you order for delivery!

My stay at Casa Linda was marvelous mainly because of its staff and service workers. The bar has the most attentive bartenders/servers and they make drinks so well! The prices are great for the quality of drinks they make. Everyday there is a special food item on the menu. However the normal menu is so delicious! We loved the ceviche, the shrimp cocktail, the marinated salmon, the risotto balls, the steak, the porchops, the soup and the breakfast! They even have delicious non alcoholic iced tea. If you want to stay at casa Linda the whole time you can still get a taste of Dominican Republic eating here. They even deliver right to your villa. Tip these folks well, they are truly amazing!

I ate at castaway for the entire duration of my vacation. The food is very good and clean. Only open kitchen I’ve seen here in Sosua. Food selection is good with a wide variety including a vegetarian section. Most of the staff in the morning are bilingual. Why only three stars?

Staff is on their phones all the time. In 2022 it’s completely understandable to see this however, when you request something ex. Drinks, menu, napkins and they literally run to their phones it then becomes unacceptable.

Waited 15 minutes to get a single waiter to approach my table. Waited an additional 15 minutes to get the menu. I cannot make this up!

At one point a waiter completely disregarded our request for ice and proceeded to check her phone, back at the bar. This is not the employee’s fault. Poor management is the root of the complacency of the staff. Undoubtedly, the business is struggling to find any staff to work.

Castaway's dining is amazing with a new chef and management. Menu items are very reasonable with wonderful presentation.we have made this a regular place. Definitely recommend

Been coming here on vacation last couple years. What a shock and let down it is now.
Restaurant, staff, management are all uninterested in service. Got one drink, waited an hour and a half for service. Complained to 3 servers at the bar.in an empty restaurant. Not one of them seemed to care or made an effort to serve us. One girl turned away and started watching TV. Finally got service and still took forever.
Casa Linda, the restaurant and management better start improving service because, we have no issues taking our business and money elsewhere!

Took two hours from ordering to delivery. Ordered 6 meals, they arrived, 5 cold, one hot. Two orders not even what we ordered. Wait staff seemed uninterested in providing assistance. Stay away!

Leckeres Frühstück, schönes Ambiente, schneller und freundlicher Service. Preis Leistungsverhältnis gut. Wir kommen wieder.

Went to the restaurant to only be disrespected by the waiter named Miguel. Gave me wrong order after even showing him a pic of type of pasta I wanted on the menu. Waiter began arguing with saying that was what I ordered. He raised his voice front of me and other patrons. Spoke to manager, to fix order and and complain about the waiter to only waste time. Asked to make formal complaint and was told there was no way or form to complaint. Don’t recommend restaurant at all and will not return.

el lugar no es tan bonito, el servicio es super lento, la comida es económica. Pero no te llevas una experiencia gastronómica

This food was the worst attempt at imitating American food. I order a BLT and Cheeseburger. The bacon was undercooked! Also our fruit drinks tasted like water.

Great food. We have eaten here several times. The staff are helpful and polite and always greet you with a nice smile. We also had some good drinks.
