Casa Marina Beach And Reef Resort

Quiet, clean, comfortable. These are small apartments with separate bedrooms perfect for traveling together. Grounds are well maintained the staff is nice. It's very basic but this is a great value for the price. The location is super central walking distsnce to many places but tucked away enough to hide from the noise and the "happy" night life. Def recommend it.

We didn't stay at Hotel Don Andres but we stopped in for a drink when it started down-pouring while we were on a walk. Extremely friendly staff from the moment we sat down at the bar! We ordered margaritas which came to about $5USD and they were some of the best we've ever had! She shook it for so long that the shaker became icy, it was incredible! We will definitely be back for a drink again next time we are walking around Sosua in November!

Buenas atenciones ya sea con la comida etc, pero el mantenimiento & el aire de las habitaciones no están excelente

Bueno que puedo decir, en la habitación que estábamos el aire no servía, nos quejamos. Y aún así no lo arreglaron, el balcón todo sucio. Cómo si nunca habían pasado agua por ahí y. Para hacer una reservación es un lío. Etc!

Service exécrable. Chambres incroyablement mal entretenues et sales. Over book l'hôtel sans scrupule au détriment des clients. Si vous n'avez pas le forfait demandé, vous n"aurez aucun remboursement. Ne perdez pas un sous dans cet hôtel.

Food is tasteless thank God for salt and pepper.
Alcohol is absolutely watered down
Room 2440 is worst than Cuba (although great location)
After 10pm you will come close to starvation, and after 1am you will absolutely starve
No real entertainment if that's something you like
The on-site disco is only open from 11pm-1am
$15/week USD for a key to the room safe (WTF)
A/C is weak

Oh yes there is another side though.

View is priceless
Alicia beach is practically on site with it's crystal clear water, a must see and do
Very close to the strip and all its bars and walking hour glass figures
Few minute walk to sosua beach with it's absolute marvelous and calm water
Close to all shops from groceries to souvenirs and all else
And the view. Yup it's amazing!

So in conclusion, if you can get past all the nonsense in the beginning you should and will enjoy!

Nice clean resort, access and amenities for wheelchair, very good service from staff. Food in the evening lacks a little.

Feels like home, everyone so friendly. We have been to various resorts in Dominican, Casa Marina is home for us.

Es un Resort muy amplio con una gran cantidad de habitaciones y espacios en los que se puede distraer la mente y el cuerpo. Lo más importante es su gastronomía y la atención de su gente respecto a la calidez y la calidad del servicio.

Was under renovations. Not their fault for selling half a resort but instead Air Tranat. At least the gave us a $100 off our next trip, with in a year.wooooo

Hat alles, was man braucht. Sehr freundliches Personal. Und alles wird renoviert. 2 Pools + Strand mit 3 Bars mit guten Drinks all incl.

Fantastic vacation.my second time here and it will be my next destination again.incredible food.they have done lots of nice upgrades since i was here last.i cant qait to go back:)

Excellent Hotel. Very clean. Staff are professional and not obviously hungry for tips. The Entertainment is second to none. The entire entertainment crew make a great team and are multi-taskers. A trait that western countries could learn from. Medina the show host is excellent, entertaining and extremely hilarious. I was not very impressed by the number of uniformed guys wandering about and trying to grab you in and around the common areas and the exist with the intent to sell you water sports and some time share stuff. This happened once too often and pressure tactics were involved too.one of them even interrupted a private moment i was having with my wife and I had to reprimand him. The management needs to find a better way around this problem. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The bartender at the Disco is just amazing.

A great improvement since 2017. Buffet is much better with a lot more options. The rings are nice. A bunch have been renovated. They do need more servers for the buffet as it takes forever to get a drink. The bars are open till 1am. Busy and really great if you bring your own travel mugs as the glasses are small. The Beach is impeccable! Had a warning due to high waves and under tow, but perfect every other day. Bring your own snacks or food if you require speciality such as GF. Bring your own mix of you wish also. We brought our own Cesar mix stores are close to resort. Quick walking distance. City nightlife is interesting and definitely don't go by yourself if female and/or young. Pools are always clean, chilly at times. Quick drive to Puerto Plata. Kids are welcomed. Wheel chair access. No elevators. Wifi isn't free. No top shelf alcohol.so if you prefer Crown Royal, for example, bring it. It's always better than cold and snow

Este hotel está dando un cambio total, mi última experiencia fue muy placentera. Recomiendo más comer en el buffet (excelente), la comida en el restaurante a la carta (Italiano para ser más específico) fue de muy malas calidad, ordene pechuga y no tenía buen sabor y un arroz ahumado. Pero son detalles que pienso pueden mejorar. Es perfecto para parejas y celebración de bodas, ya que, cuenta con una de las vistas más hermosas que haya visto en un hotel.

Me gustó. Hay cositas que se pueden mejorar como las variedades de tragos en el bar, actividades de entretenimiento y otros detallitos. Pero para el precio, está muy bien.

El mejor hotel, el mejor servicio de buena calidad, excelente ambiente para compartir y pasarla bien
