Danielle es genial! Además de que te ofrece habitaciones privadas y cómodas, también hace city tours si tienes un itinerario más tranquilo o te brinda información de actividades de aventuras en la ciudad.
La cocina, lavadora, balcón, etc están disponibles para tu uso (estilo hostal) y tienes aire acondicionado y una nevera pequeña en la habitación.
Es un lugar perfecto para quienes vienen por más tiempo o por trabajo y no conocen la zona, pues ella te orienta lo más que puede sobre la ciudad, las rutas, los costos y el wifi es bueno!

Nos permitieron pasar unos días inolvidables con Daniele. El alojamiento ofrece todo lo necesario. Las habitaciones son amplias y limpias.
La anfitriona siempre está feliz de ayudar y da excelentes consejos para aprovechar al máximo su estadía en Puerto Plata. Si necesitas alojamiento en Puerto Plata, ¡has venido al lugar indicado!

Danièle es una excelente host, su casa es limpia y bonita. Se puede hacer uso de la cocina y sus implementos. Baño dentro de las habitaciones. Lástima que queda lejos del centro, por lo que caminando no hay nada interesante cerca, se soluciona con Uber.

Danielle es una persona realmente maravillosa. Ella realmente quiere ayudarte a experimentar el país y conocerte. ¡Espero que tengas la oportunidad de quedarte en su casa!

Muy lindo alojamiento en medio de Puerto Plata. Anfitriona cortés. Sobre todo, una excelente relación precio-rendimiento. Realmente disfruté de la terraza y de la típica vida dominicana y a veces ruidosa en una bonita zona residencial. Tienes que poder caminar fácilmente a las playas y al centro. Sin embargo, los taxis son muy baratos.

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Place spacieuse, facilement accessible, stationnement dans la rue. La propriétaire est très gentille et parle français ce qui facile la communication quand on ne parle pas espagnol. 20-25 min à pied pour aller au centre historique.

Communal balcony and rooftop terrace. Clean comfortable rooms with AC and fan and fridge at very reasonable prices. And of course the owner is very friendly and extremely helpful for any information you need. One of my favorite stays on my trip

Really enjoyed staying there, very clean and comfortable, good location too. Daniele the owner was very kind and also very helpful on how to get around the Republic.if u like to cook for yourself sometimes while there the kitchen was very good and had every tool.
Highly recommend it

This is the apartment of a retired school teacher from Europe who rents the rooms to travelers. The conditions are modest, at best. The furniture is old, worn, and uncomfortable. She told me it was the same furniture she'd had in Europe. The property is located in a typical Dominican barrio which means loud traffic noise from the cars and swarms of motorcycle taxis, trash and debris on the streets and sidewalks, stray dogs and cats roaming the streets and sidewalks, and roosters crowing all day and night. When I arrived I wanted to pay with my credit card but the machine wasn't working. When I wanted to wash my clothes the washing machine wasn't working. When I asked to watch the TV, the cable signal wasn't working. (But TV is not an offered amenity.) It was difficult to find any comfort or peaceful moments in this place due to the outside noise. But the worst thing was having to listen to the host pout and complain like a spoiled 6 year old child. This was annoying and most unprofessional. Spend an extra $5/night and stay in a professionally run hotel with quality amenities.

I cant say enough good things about Danièle and Casa Azul. If you are in Puerto Plata for the long hall, you cannot get a more comfortable living experience at such an amazing value. Small rooms and entire apartments are available. Kitchen is available if you have a culinary heart. Lots of areas for relaxation. I'm entertaining thoughts of staying here for a year!

Very clean and comfortable. Centrally located to all major stores and attractions. Great wifi connection. The host Danielle is very nice and accommodating, makes you feel like you're at home with family. Highly recommend to all.

I highly recommend Casa Azul Apartments. I have had the pleasure of enjoying the accommodations at Casa Azul twice. Both times were amazing! The apartment suites are very clean, well equipped and provide all the comforts of home. The building and property are wonderful, at a central location, close to everything (grocery stores, restaurants, cafe's, tourist excursions, the beautiful beaches and boardwalks and old towne Puerto Plata. Staying at Casa Azul you will feel safe, peaceful, and immersed in Dominican culture.
The backyard patio is a wonderful shaded space to sit and enjoy a drink, read a book, play dominos or converse. And the root top terrace is the most incredible place to watch the sun rise and sun set, take in the 360 degree view of the ocean and mountain landscapes, sun bathe, play cards, and peacefully listen to the sounds of the city, laughter and music, and you can watch the people dancing up and down the street.

The owner and host, Daniele, is truly amazing! So lovely and welcoming and able to help with any questions, directions, recommendations, airport transportation, etc. From the moment I arrived at Casa Azul I felt like I was being welcomed into a friends home. I have stayed in 2 of the apartments (2 separate trips to DR) and enjoyed both spaces and experiences. Daniele also gave me a tour of the other suites and rooms when they were not occupied and honestly I can say that I would be equally happy staying in any room or apartment that is available. All have air conditioning, private baths, bed linens, towels, TV's, etc.and the apartments have fully equipped kitchens and living spaces.

This is a gem of a place. I highly highly recommend it!
Also, I had a rental car but did a lot of walking around the area. I can say, as a single female, I did not once feel afraid or nervous. Everyone was very friendly, kind and patient with me (as I did not speak Spanish). The Dominican people are beautiful inside and out. Their smiles and spirits are captivating. I will continue to visit the country and stay at Casa Azul. I know I will have a wonderful and culturally rich vacation every time.

Excellente! I have stayed at Casa Azul 2 times in the last year. Both times were fantastic. Very friendly staff, very clean and safe. My girlfriend and I had a great time. We slept very well on the comfortable beds and enjoyed the air conditioning. We liked sitting on the patios playing cards & dominoes and listening to music. And we loved the fruit trucks that passed by daily.and my girlfriend really loved the coffee percolator in the apartment. She said it makes the best coffee. We definitely recommend Casa Azul. Beautiful apartments, close to everything and right in the middle of Puerto Plata, central for everything and the true beauty of the Dominican and it's people and culture.

Excelente! Me he alojado en Casa Azul 2 veces en el último año. Ambas veces fueron fantásticas. Personal muy amable, muy limpio y seguro. Mi novia y yo lo pasamos muy bien. Dormimos muy bien en las cómodas camas y disfrutamos del aire acondicionado. Nos gustaba sentarnos en los patios jugando a las cartas y al dominó y escuchar música. Y nos encantaron los camiones de frutas que pasaban a diario.y mi novia realmente amaba la cafe percolator en el apartamento. Ella dijo que hace el mejor café. Definitivamente recomendamos Casa Azul. Hermosos apartamentos, cerca de todo y justo en el medio de Puerto Plata, central para todo y la verdadera belleza de lo dominicano y su gente y cultura.

Magnífico alojamiento. La dueña es una suiza que se llama Daniele y te trata como si te conociera. Está en la parte alta de la ciudad pero se tarda muy poco en llegar al centro. Yo vine encantada.

Para mi lo fundamental en un lugar de hospedaje es LA HIGIENE y ATENCIÓN AL HUÉSPED, Casa Azul lo tiene, excelente servicio!

Nice budget guesthouse in Puerto Plata. This is in a residential neighborhood so expect to hear roosters and loud music. While there are some annoyances, the place itself is very nice and the owner is incredible.
