On March 6th 2021 I've decided to check this place out after reading all the good reviews. I specifically was looking forward to being sat at one of the poolside tables. Upon arrival at 6: 30PM my date and I were informed by the female manager that all three vacant tables by the poolside area were reserved. Keep in mind this is during the time of Covid19 curfew which begins at 7: 00 PM. So someone "reserved" all three vacant tables by the pool area knowing the kitchen closes in less than 30 minutes and has yet to arrive? The tables were empty, not served with plates or silverware and there were no "RESERVED" plaques on them as would be customary in any fine dining establishment. Instead we were offered a table inside tucked away in the corner that was poorly lit and ventilated. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere. Very disappointing experience.

Bliss is a very professional establishment with exceptional food and service. We ordered delivery after having a menu sent to us through whatsapp. The menu had options for every age and we were able to pay online using PayPal. Quick, easy and delicious. Highly recommend

Amazing, amazing food. Definitely a fine dining experience and one of the best restaurants in Cab. Steak is fantastic. Best tapenade I've ever had in my life. You can get escargot here. One of the best dining experiences (if not the best) in Cab and I recommend it to everyone. Great for large groups! It's off the beaten path - take a right or left into Callejon de la Loma (technically an alley, and depends on which direction you're coming from as you're passing Ocean Dream.) The restaurant is never really packed as a result, great place to bring a date, has a romantic vibe. Lots of space in the restaurant so you won't be sitting close to others.

I believe the couple that owns the restaurant is from Spain. They were fabulous and welcoming and I'm so glad they're sharing their culinary traditions and expertise with the rest of the world. I think I've been here about five times and their specials were well thought out and do not disappoint. They're also very adventurous with the specials but I have to say I was not a fan of the "chocolate ravioli" (ravioli with a chocolate filling, not a dessert). My friend ordered this and I tried it and it was well prepared.but let's just say it tasted exactly the way you expect chocolate ravioli to taste.

A warning for diners: wear long pants and long sleeves. DO NOT sit next to the pool. Mosquitos will absolutely eat you alive. It's still 100% worth it. They accept American Express.

The food is always AMAZING! The staff are always friendly. The owners are the nicest people. Just an overall fantastic experience every time that we take everyone there. A must-eat-at restaurant before you leave DR. Wonderful for hosting private events, too. 5 stars and 5 hearts!

Chairs are terribly uncomfortable. Spray for mosquitoes. They will snack on your feet all night long.

Fantastic fresh dynamic food. Was truly surprised to find food like this in the neighborhood. Seafood was amazing fresh and location is impeccably maintained. Owner is obviously very involved.

Food was excellent, service was exceptional, the atmosphere far exceeded other Cabarete restaurants. Best choice in town.

Une découverte ce restaurant ou j’ai dîné le soir de la St Valentin 2020. Nous y avons réservé le menu spécial de cette fête.
Vraiment l’accueil parfait. La femme du chef parle français! Le cadre est agréable avec la piscine turquoise proche.
Une flûte de champagne (peut être) en apéritif.
Les plats bien présentés et raffinés. Les quantités sont suffisantes! Ce ne sont pas les échantillons que l’on trouve souvent dans ce type de restaurant. Les prix sont raisonnables pour un étranger au pays.
Le seul reproche, pour moi, l’éclairage trop faible sur les tables. On a du mal à voir ce qu’il y a dans les assiettes. Un peu dommage!

I have been enjoying Bliss restaurant for 10+ years. Their food and service is fantastic and they are consistent. A fine restaurant where you get what you pay for, well done!

Consistently great food, excellent ambience, friendly and attentive service. Elegant presentation. I especially loved the tuna, but they also turned out several perfectly cooked steaks and fresh, flavorful soups and salads.
