Yeah I like Blackbeard you know they have just about a lot of accommodation pool table and dining Halls and very attractive women they do have like bikini contests and things like that and draw you in but none that I'm engaged I can't do all that

Excellent Place to relax and have a good time. Good Food and great drinks also lots of entertainment. Highly Recommended 5 stars. Be back soon.

Great food. One of the best place to meet your favorite local gals. GREAT SERVICE. I would definitely recommend coming here. You won't regret it.

Clean bar and dining room. The pasta was very good and chicken wings delicious. I only had drinks and food. Cocktails limited selection

First off I don’t know of anywhere else on this side of the ocean like this place. It’s truly amazing it exists. I’ll start with all the good stuff, the staff at the desk and all the servers are incredibly friendly. Nico in particular put me in a great mood and had me laughing hearing him give the run down on this little slice of heaven. He says the regular clientele is getting pretty old and they really need more younger pirates to spread the word and keep the place going. I’m going to do my best to bring some more friends next time.
The food is all pretty good (alittle pricey but still very cheap compared to hotel food in the states)
And of course the main reason you come, the shipmates. Let me just say it’s like being a kid in a candy store. If you’ve never done something like this it’s gonna be alittle intimidating, the shipmates are pros and want to get that sale. After my first night I was definitely more relaxed and better at telling them who I am or am not interested in.
The mamasan is also very helpful if you’d rather just scope things out from a far and then just tell her who you like.
I really love the mix of people who visit her, young, old, black, white and everyone in between. Everyone is having a great time and the atmosphere reflects that.

Room for improvement:
If you have a room by the pool (the a, b, c rooms I believe) the WiFi is very slow, so if you need to have good internet while here you should ask for a room in the main building (upstairs from the office) or plan to use the WiFi in the bar/lobby area. I suspect if you are here you probably won’t need to be online 24/7.

I struggle to say if the rooms should be updated, they definitely show their age but are nonetheless comfortable, clean, functional. I slept great and noise wasn’t an issue. It may help them attract new customers though if they were to modernize the rooms but I was happy with it.

Nice and cozy resort, food was ok but portions were huge. Drinks pretty reasonable and nice environment. A lot of girls hanging out by the pool area. Pretty pricey but during the curfews was just about the only place that stayed open in costambar.

It's like a school dance when you're in junior high school. All the girls on one side of the floor wondering why all the boys are to scared to go ask them to dance. On the other side you have all the boys bragging what studs they are. The place is nice, chicas are nice, experienced but not worn out. Prices are creeping up. But hey, where else you going to go when you can't get laid?

Great food, a bit pricey, but all in all a good value. Many different services all with varied beautiful chicas that are eager to keep you coming back

Un buen servicio VIP con WiFi excelente lugar y muy tranquilo cuando deseamos Relajarno, tiene mesa de villar, bar, Restaurant y muy Buena Purina y a solo 3 minutos de la playa. Lo Recomiendo

La comida es muy buena y el personal es agradable pero el agua para la ducha es horrible, es salda, tiene muy mal olor no es buena ni para ducharse no te puedes ni lavar los dientes porque te da nausea y vomitas creo que se produce mucho dinero como para tener que tomar agua de un poso

I have visited Blackbeard many times in the past 5 years and will continue to visit several times a year. Blackbeard's is paradise for men. Located in Costambar a gated community with local restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket, pharmacy, 9 hole Golf course and a great beach. One cannot ask for anything else!

Lots of good looking women, but they are too into their cellphones on social media and not attentive of the customers. They have their phones, so they don't care for anything else.

If you're a newbie to DR, especially to Puerto Plata, this is the right place for you. For those who don't speak Spanish that well, staff speak both English and Spanish to help and make your stay enjoyable. Yes it is an " ADULT " resort, so any single men looking to mingle and have fun, this is it. There's a local beach 2 mins away from the resort. The staff are friendly, the food is good, and the girls are better.

I have never stayed here but I have eaten at the restaurant for both breakfast and lunch and the food is good.

Black Beards in Costambar, D. Republic is primarily gentlemen's resort, geared to guests enjoying sports, televised sport programs such as Superbowl, boxing matches, wrestling, league baseball with arranged activities while enjoying commaraderie at the bar on well maintained gardens and upscale decor; various excursions avlbl to water parks, snorkellg, deep sea fishg n the like, very nice place to wind down, lots of restaurants nearby within 2 minute walk, great beach across the street

We had bkfst here. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was good. This is not the US. Your toast does not come buttered, so toast is bread that you spread butter on. We were a couple, surrounded by only men. Hmmmm. When we returned home we were told the "ladies" show up later

The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is too! It's yards away from the beach or you can stay and relax by the pool and never leave the resort

This place gets five stars if your looking for something That is strictly a 'single guys/ girls' place.
